Peachtree is looking to add a Director, Business Development to drive new sales within a fairly large territory.  This is a remote position, primarily working Western half of the United States and responsible for developing relationships with sponsor companies that have pipelines mirroring Peachtree's core therapeutic focus. The operations teams at Peachtree are highly experienced, and senior clinical ops staff are always working in conjunction with BD.  Our sponsor clients value the team experience, minimal layers of management, and responsiveness we bring to their projects.  If you are highly driven, love to win, and have genuine desire to bring value to clients, let us know about you.   We have a great story to sell.

The Responsibilities:

  • Utilize market intelligence and technologies to identify and develop contacts within territory  
  • Penetrate new accounts, while maintaining and nurturing existing clients
  • Prepare, maintain, and update sales and marketing plans for your territory - track in CRM
  • Meet specified targets including quarterly and yearly goals
  • Participate in and actively drive proposal development, bid defense, and ops handoffs to ensure Peachtree is addressing true needs of the client
  • Manage internal teams throughout sales process
  • Participate in conferences, trade shows, and other industry events

Qualifications:

  • Inside or outside sales experience at a CRO, or other clinical trials solutions/service (EDC Platform, CTMS, etc)
  • Currently living within the western U.S. and relatively short travel time to CA, UT, CO, WA, etc
  • Dynamic and engaging presentation skills.  Complex sales cycle and bid defense prep experience is highly preferred
  • Track record of success selling new business and creating relationships with decision makers within Clin Ops and C-suite
  • HIGHLY organized, very responsive, high standards for self and others
  • Ability to prioritize work, plan revenue generating activities,  and adjust when needed
