SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

The Director Client Education & Training is responsible for overseeing the successful operations of Finalsite’s Client Education and Training team. You’ll work cross-functionally with Development, Product Marketing, Sales, Client Success (incl. Professional Services, Support, CSMs) on customer educational needs and content development for our rapidly growing customer base and industry. Additionally, you’ll oversee the training & onboarding team, which provides onboarding and customer training for our all of Finalsite products (CMS, EMS, Comms, AskAI, etc)

LOCATION

100% Remote - Anywhere within the US

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own the readiness of the client as measured by course completion rates, product adoption rates, knowledge check scores, training CSAT scores and post implementation adoption rates.

  • Develop strategies to scale the team to meet the demands of a growing client base

  • Oversee staff utilization, recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding efforts

  • Develop strong ties with product management and partner with them to stay abreast of product roadmap changes that will impact the training curriculum roadmap.

  • Lead Finalsite’s training services strategies, curriculum and roadmap, including

    • Client onboarding

    • On-demand training services

    • Customer certification and continuing education

    • Onsite training @ client locations

    • Training events - Finalsite University

  • Conceptualize, implement, and maintain education and training infrastructure & LMS

  • Collaborate with Support to ensure knowledge base content is up-to-date and effective

  • Work across departments to ensure that cross-departmental functions are optimal

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and career development for the internal PS teams

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Experience with websites built via Content Management Systems (“CMS”) like Wordpress, Squarespace, Wix, Weebly, Joomla, etc.

  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (“LMS”) like Thought Industries, SkillJar, Docebo, etc.

  • Experience with Pendo or equivalent product experience platforms to capture and analyze user interactions across Finalsite products.

  • 5+ years of experience leading education/training teams up to 12 team members

  • Proven experience in leading, developing and delivering client education programs, preferably within a SaaS company or technology-driven environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or commensurate experience.
