JOB DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Sr Director Commercial Effectiveness, the Director Commercial Analytics and Intelligence will spearhead the commercial analytics function, delivering strategic insights and analytical excellence to propel business growth and enhance commercial performance. Oversee and refine the company's processes to boost sales and reduce operational costs. Develop advanced analytics capabilities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform strategic decisions, optimize resource allocation, build critical competitive capabilities, and promote financial stewardship for accelerated growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop a comprehensive strategic vision for the sales operations and analytics function, ensuring it aligns with overall business goals and objectives, aligned to sales strategy of segments.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to identify and address key business challenges and opportunities through the application of advanced analytics, driving innovation and strategic growth.
  • Create and deploy robust analytics frameworks to support commercial strategies and initiatives.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques and tools to derive actionable insights from large and complex datasets.
  • Foster the adoption of data-driven decision-making processes across the commercial organization.
  • Establish, monitor, and report on essential commercial performance metrics and KPIs.
  • Create and present regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management, offering clear and actionable insights.
  • Perform thorough analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in commercial performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create effective sales compensation plans that meet the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Assess market research and conduct competitive analysis to inform commercial strategies and identify growth opportunities.
  • Examine market trends, customer behaviors, competitive dynamics, and regulatory changes to support strategic planning and decision-making
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, product, and other relevant teams to support commercial initiatives and ensure strategic alignment.
  • Work closely with IT and data management teams to maintain data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
  • Facilitate effective communication and knowledge sharing across departments to improve collaboration and efficiency.
  • Lead quality initiatives aimed at optimizing internal functions, producing significant enhancements to company performance and strengthening customer relations.
  • Manage the sales forecasting process, ensuring accurate and reliable sales projections.
  • Assess and provide recommendations on necessary analytical tools, software, and technologies to support business objectives.
  • Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.
  • Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices
  • Performs other duties as directed.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or other quantitative disciplines and minimum of 10+ years of relevant work experience preferably in a global organization and post graduate degree.
  • Proven experience in a senior sales leadership role (7-10 years), preferably within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Deep expertise in sales, commercial operations, advanced analytics, including proficiency with analytical tools and software.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving business results.
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex analytical insights to diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing teams through client-facing activities such as stakeholder workshops and deliverable review/approval sessions.

What we offer:
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $160,000 to $210,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 30% of the base salary and a 30% RSU grant. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (20 days), holidays including 3 floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
