Job Summary
The Director, Commercial Initiatives is responsible for acting as the unified voice of FreeWheel's commercial organization, ensuring that our product and operations teams are developing the capabilities that will maximize FreeWheel's financial and strategic outcomes. In this role, you will work across FreeWheel's global revenue and partnerships organizations to identify all of the major product and operations capabilities that can drive meaningful outcomes. You will prioritize those investments for our executives and product and engineering organizations, and ensure that we stay aligned with those priorities throughout their development and go-to-market lifecycles. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work for Comcast in the United States without a current or potential future need for sponsorship. The opportunity is onsite (4 days per week) at the FreeWheel office located at 1407 Broadway, New York city.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
  • Consolidate all product and operations investment requests from revenue and partnerships teams.
  • Prioritize the highest value requests and develop business cases to justify those priorities.
  • Work with the FreeWheel Strategy team to ideate net new product and operations capabilities that support expansion into new lines of business.
  • Gain alignment on development priorities with commercial, product and operations leadership.
  • Communicate development priorities across the FreeWheel commercial organization, ensuring shared understanding and alignment.
  • Collaborate with product and operations teams to refine processes for intake and prioritization of development requests.
  • Ensure development and go-to-market teams remain aligned with commercial initiative priorities as they go through their development and go-to-market lifecycles.
  • Develop and maintain in-depth understanding of FreeWheel's products, customers, partners and competitors.
  • Establish trusted working relationships cross-functionally within FreeWheel.

Salary:
Primary Location Pay Range: $158,689.27 - $238,033.90
Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a Commission under the terms of an applicable plan, while most non-sales positions are eligible for a Bonus. While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
