The Director of Demand Generation will lead BioRender's demand generation strategy, drive pipeline growth, and manage a demand generation team. Responsibilities include executing campaigns, aligning with sales, and leveraging data for optimization.
At BioRender, we’re on a mission to accelerate the world’s ability to learn, discover, and communicate science — transforming how knowledge is shared and making science open, collaborative, and easily understandable by all.
We’re shaping the future of science communication and are looking for talented individuals to help bring this vision to life! 🚀
About the Role
As the Director of Demand Generation at BioRender, you’ll lead our efforts to drive predictable, scalable pipeline and revenue growth across our key customer segments. You’ll own the end-to-end demand engine — from awareness and acquisition through activation, conversion, and expansion — partnering closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Growth, and RevOps to turn interest into impact.
This role is a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on execution — ideal for someone who loves building high-performing programs, using data to inform decisions, and experimenting across channels to fuel growth in a product-led SaaS company serving the global scientific community.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and execute BioRender’s demand generation strategy across the full funnel to drive qualified pipeline, revenue, and customer growth.
- Develop and scale integrated campaigns across channels including paid media, lifecycle/email, webinars, content syndication, partnerships, and events.
- Partner closely with Sales and RevOps to align on ICPs, targeting, funnel definitions, lead management, and pipeline goals.
- Work with Product Marketing to translate value propositions, use cases, and launches into compelling demand programs.
- Build and optimize lifecycle programs that nurture users from signup to activation, expansion, and retention.
- Manage and mentor a growing demand generation team, fostering a culture of experimentation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Own demand generation forecasting, budgeting, and performance reporting — using data to optimize ROI and inform future investments.
- Test, learn, and iterate constantly — leveraging A/B testing, attribution, and insights to improve conversion rates across the funnel.
What You Bring to the Table
- 8+ years of experience in demand generation, growth marketing, or performance marketing — ideally within B2B SaaS or product-led growth environments.
- Proven track record of building and scaling demand programs that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
- Deep understanding of full-funnel marketing, attribution, and experimentation frameworks.
- Strong analytical mindset — comfortable using data to diagnose performance, prioritize opportunities, and guide decision-making.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, RevOps, and Product teams.
- Hands-on experience with paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and marketing automation tools.
- A growth mindset — you’re curious, adaptable, and energized by building and optimizing systems in a fast-growing company.
- Experience marketing to technical, scientific, or highly specialized audiences is a strong plus.
