Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop a deep understanding of the domain, including key features and capabilities, and how competitors and best-in-class firms address them, in order to inform product strategy.
- Build product roadmaps within the context of the business, customers, and technology landscape, and align them with strategic initiatives and metrics in collaboration with internal business partners.
- Communicate the product team's vision and roadmap throughout the organization using presentations and roadmaps, building alignment and support.
- Lead build/buy analysis for selected products with limited supervision and in collaboration with IT, ensuring that technology solutions align with business needs and goals.
- Build and foster relationships with vendors and SAAS providers, evaluating their products and services as potential solutions to business needs.
- Coach and mentor product managers and analysts on effective product execution, diving into the details when necessary to provide guidance and role-modeling.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders for all minor product and feature releases, ensuring that all parties are aligned and the product is delivered on time and within scope.
- Develop and execute programs to measure the effectiveness of the product within their domain and continuously improve it.
- Define and run testing programs within the domain, ensuring that the product meets customer needs and expectations.
- Continuously evangelize the product domain throughout the organization, building excitement and support for the product and its vision.

- Able to move between the strategic 30,000 ft-view and tactical activity levels on a daily basis, focusing on the high level and product details simultaneously.
- Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, market trends, technical concepts, and evaluate new ideas. Strong customer empathy, able to easily put themselves in the user's shoes.
- Demonstrated ability in leading world-class product organizations.
- Demonstrated success in both enterprise and more nimble/startup cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to attract, inspire and grow world-class product management talent.
- Executive presence and commercial acumen.
- Familiarity with a range of D2C platforms and solutions.

Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is often preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in product management, including experience managing a team.
- Experience with B2C platforms in the Communications/Media, Financial Services or Retail industry.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing products through their lifecycle.
- Experience in product strategy, roadmap planning, and product lifecycle management.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.
- Experience with Design Thinking and Agile Framework methodologies.
