About the Role:
Fetch is entering a pivotal phase of growth and operational complexity, with millions of users, expanding platform capabilities, and increasing cross-functional scale. As the company evolves from a high-growth business into a more operationally mature organization, there is a critical need to strengthen the systems, cadence, and leadership infrastructure that power execution across the company.
Fetch is hiring a Director of Executive Operations to architect and run Fetch’s executive operating system. You will design the systems that govern how the leadership team sets priorities, measures performance, and drives execution at scale.
Partnering directly with the COO, you will own the infrastructure behind decision-making velocity, metric integrity, and cross-functional alignment. This is a builder role for an operator who thrives on turning complexity into structured, high-functioning systems and who takes pride in making organizations run with precision.
This is a full-time role that can be held from one of our US offices or remotely in the United States.
Role Responsibilities:
- Executive Operating System Ownership: Architect and run Fetch’s executive operating system, translating company strategy into structured mechanisms that drive alignment, accountability, and execution across the leadership team.
- Business Performance Governance: Own the company’s single source of truth for core business metrics (e.g., users, CAC, LTV), ensuring accuracy, consistency, and real-time visibility. Build processes that enforce accountability, surface discrepancies, and elevate insights for executive decision-making.
- Rhythm of Business (RoB) & Leadership Cadence: Design and optimize the company’s executive cadence, including leadership meetings, QBRs, and offsites. Set agendas, curate pre-reads, and implement decision frameworks that drive clear outcomes, fast decisions, and disciplined follow-through.
- OKR Architecture & Execution Alignment: Lead the design and implementation of Fetch’s OKR framework, ensuring alignment from company priorities to team-level execution. Build tracking systems, reporting cadences, and feedback loops that drive accountability and continuous improvement.
- Strategic Partnership to the COO: Serve as a high-leverage partner to the COO, synthesizing cross-functional inputs into clear insights, tradeoffs, and recommendations. Anticipate operational gaps, represent leadership intent, and drive accountability across senior stakeholders.
- Strategic Execution & Priority Workstreams: Maintain real-time visibility into the company’s highest-priority initiatives by participating in key forums, tracking progress against critical goals, and driving execution on select cross-functional workstreams and decision frameworks.
- Executive Communications & Decision Support: Curate and synthesize inputs into executive-ready briefs, presentations, and materials for internal and external engagements, ensuring leadership is consistently prepared, aligned, and focused on highest-impact decisions.
Minimum Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in operations, business operations, strategy, program leadership, or consulting roles in high-growth or complex environments
- Proven track record of building and scaling internal operating systems (e.g., OKRs, executive cadences, reporting infrastructure)
- Experience working closely with C-suite executives, with the ability to influence and drive alignment at senior levels
- Strong analytical capability and comfort owning business metrics, reporting, and performance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to translate ambiguity into structured, repeatable systems that drive execution
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex inputs into clear, actionable insights
- High judgment, executive presence, and the ability to operate as a trusted proxy to senior leadership
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority initiatives with rigor, speed, and attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience building business performance metrics in a high-growth company
- Track record of implementing and operationalizing OKR frameworks at scale
- Experience with board-level materials, corporate reporting, or data room governance
- Background in consulting, BizOps, or similar environments with strong systems orientation
- Experience in consumer technology, marketplace, or high-growth startup environments
- MBA or advanced degree a plus
