Job Overview

As the Director of Field Marketing East/Central and Public Sector, you’ll develop and execute our field marketing strategy to support regional growth and engage key regional accounts within the East and Central regions and Public Sector . You’ll lead a team of field marketers to design, implement, and optimize impactful regional events and strategic programs to drive pipeline growth, deepen customer relationships, and 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a team of field marketers, with a focus on strategy, execution, and efficient scaling. Mentor and coach team members to optimize field marketing impact.
  • Develop and implement field marketing strategies across events, executive roundtables, partners and conferences, ensuring alignment with Chainguard’s business objectives and pipeline goals.
  • Partner with enterprise sales teams to identify and prioritize key accounts, creating targeted marketing campaigns that drive pipeline growth in the AMER region.
  • Regularly analyze territory health and campaign performance to improve targeting, enhance funnel performance, and refine marketing strategies.
  • Build scalable frameworks and best practices for the field marketing function, enabling effective and consistent execution across the AMER region.
  • Develop robust measurement plans and leverage reporting tools to communicate the effectiveness of marketing initiatives to stakeholders, adjusting as needed to maximize results.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in field marketing or demand generation, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering impactful regional marketing programs.
  • Extensive experience in planning and executing a variety of field events tailored to meet the needs of targeted accounts and regional dynamics.
  • Deep knowledge  field marketing initiatives with sales and account strategies to drive engagement and pipeline growth.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build relationships with strategic partners, aligning marketing programs with business objectives.
  • Exceptional analytical skills to leverage data and metrics for evaluating program effectiveness and optimizing strategies for maximum impact.
  • Inspiring leader skilled in effective communication, fostering alignment across teams, and driving a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in field marketing/demand generation, with proven experience in working with field teams and building regional plans
  • Expertise in field events: Deep experience planning and executing a variety of field events, with a track record of successful event strategies tailored to targeted accounts and regional dynamics.
  • Partnership Mindset: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships aligning marketing programs with key business objectives.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in using data and metrics to assess program effectiveness, with the ability to pivot strategies based on insights.
  • Communication & Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, inspire, and drive alignment across teams.
  • Must be able to travel 20-25% during the quarter for events
