We’re looking for a Director of Growth Marketing Operations to join our Marketing team. As the Director of Growth Marketing Operations, responsible for building and operating the infrastructure that powers scalable, data-driven marketing. We’re looking for a strategic and technical leader with deep experience in building marketing technology stacks and driving data-driven decision-making. This role owns the systems, platforms, and data pipelines that enable marketing teams to plan, execute, measure, and optimize campaigns across the full customer journey. You will automate our efforts to deliver KPIs across new customer acquisition, annual customer spend, retention, and digital interactions - developing a deep understanding of the customer to help him/her on her collecting journey.
You will be at the center of our team’s ability to scale operations, owning the roadmap for our marketing technology infrastructure and analytics frameworks. You will empower groups across the marketing team, as well as stakeholders across the business, with the tools and data they need to drive significant business growth.
Acting as the connective tissue between Marketing, Data, Engineering, Product, and Privacy teams, this leader designs and operates the end-to-end growth operations ecosystem—ensuring marketing channel owners have the tools, automation, and insights required to drive measurable growth across all channels.
The ideal candidate combines growth strategy, marketing technology expertise, and data architecture knowledge to create a modern, scalable marketing operating system. This candidate also has deep expertise in the Salesforce ecosystem (Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud) and modern data stacks (Snowflake, Tableau, Segment) to execute across data integration, attribution modeling, and reporting. The ideal candidate will be able to manage complex roadmaps, lead cross-functional initiatives, and mentor a growing team in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll report to the Senior Director, Marketing Operations & Planning. This can be a remote role. We believe that there is significant value in in-person collaboration. If you live within a 1 hour commuting distance to one of our offices, you will be required to be onsite most of the time. This will be discussed further as part of the recruiting process.
What You’ll Do:
Growth Operations & Marketing Infrastructure
Own and lead the end-to-end growth operations function, enabling scalable campaign execution across paid, owned, and earned channels
Design and operationalize full-funnel marketing infrastructure from acquisition through retention and lifecycle marketing
Build and maintain the operational backbone that connects marketing strategy to execution and measurement
Partner with marketing channel owners to ensure systems and processes support rapid experimentation and campaign velocity
Martech Strategy & Platform Ownership
Own the marketing technology stack, including evaluation, implementation, administration, and optimization of tools
Serve as the primary owner for platforms supporting:
Email, lifecycle and growth marketing
Analytics, attribution and measurement
Marketing automation & journey orchestration
Tagging and tracking infrastructure
Coupon / promotion systems
Customer engagement platforms
Lead martech modernization efforts, identifying new capabilities, managing vendor relationships, and leading RFP processes
Data & Analytics Infrastructure
Design and manage front-end and back-end data and analytics pipelines that power marketing insights and reporting
Build reliable data integrations across CRM, CDP, analytics, media platforms, and internal data systems
Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to enable scalable experimentation, attribution modeling, cohort analysis, and performance measurement
Deep technical expertise with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, CDPs (Segment/mParticle), and visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI)
Campaign Enablement & Execution Support
Enable marketing teams with the infrastructure needed to execute multi-channel campaigns at scale.
Build and manage systems supporting:
segmentation and audience management
campaign orchestration
experimentation and A/B testing
cross-channel measurement
Establish best practices and governance for campaign execution and data integrity
Privacy, Compliance & Data Governance
Own the operational implementation of privacy policies, consent management, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
Manage customer consent, preference centers, and data permissions across marketing systems
Ensure tracking and data collection practices meet evolving privacy and regulatory requirements
Marketing Technology Innovation
Continuously evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, and automation tools
Identify opportunities to improve marketing performance through better integrations, automation, and advanced analytics
Lead vendor selection, RFPs, and implementation for new platforms and capabilities
Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as a strategic partner to Marketing, Data, Engineering, Product, and Legal teams
Translate marketing needs into scalable technical and operational solutions
Build processes and frameworks that enable rapid experimentation while maintaining governance and data integrity
Who You Are:
10+ years of experience in CRM operations with heavy emphasis on martech and data, and 8+ years in marketing, growth, or related roles
Experienced with at least one major CRM platform (Braze, Iterable, Salesforce, etc.)
Customer obsessed - you start with the customer and leverage quantitative and qualitative customer research to inform your work
Data driven - you take a quantitative approach to solving problems and substantiate your hypotheses with data and insights
Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; highly organized
Intellectually curious and focused on continued personal growth
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $170,000 - $230,000. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set. This role may be eligible for bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, please ask your recruiter for details.
