About Us

Higharc is a VC-backed startup that is changing how new homes are designed and built. Join a founding team who’ve shipped products for Autodesk, Electronic Arts, Nike, and Apple. We have raised a total of $83M with support from top-notch venture capital firms and more than 18 strategic investors—industry leaders in construction, building products manufacturing, and distribution.

About the Role

Higharc is seeking a Director of Implementation to lead our team of architects and design professionals. This role reports directly to the VP of Adoption and is critical to transforming our implementation process into a scalable, repeatable, and efficient engine. The Director will be responsible for leading a team of highly skilled architects who specialize in modeling homes in Higharc’s design and data products.

What You'll Do

  • Lead Implementation Execution: Oversee the day-to-day operations of an implementation team responsible for transitioning customers from legacy design systems (e.g. AutoCAD Architecture or Revit) to Higharc. Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

  • Drive Process Excellence: Design, implement, and enforce a standardized implementation methodology, including playbooks and best practices, to ensure a consistent approach across all projects.

  • Develop a High-Performing Team: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of architects and design professionals who will become experts in the Higharc platform. Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.

  • Manage Metrics and Reporting: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, such as plan throughput and project duration. Use data to identify bottlenecks and inform operational decisions.

  • Serve as a Technical Leader: Act as a subject matter expert for the team and a key escalation point for complex technical issues related to the Higharc platform.

  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with the VP of Adoption to ensure alignment with the broader business strategy. Partner with the Product team to advocate for the voice of the customer and provide actionable feedback on platform functionality.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in a technical implementation or professional services role, with a focus on AEC, BIM, or construction technology.

  • Leadership: 3-5+ years of experience managing technical teams, including direct experience in hiring, training, and developing talent.

  • Operational Rigor: Proven ability to build, implement, and optimize repeatable processes and methodologies for project delivery.

  • Technical Acumen: A deep understanding of the technical challenges associated with migrating from legacy systems (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and manual workflows.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: Experience establishing and using data-driven metrics to manage team performance and drive operational efficiency.

  • Problem-Solving: A demonstrated track record of diagnosing and solving complex operational and technical challenges within a fast-paced environment.
