About Cro Metrics

At Cro Metrics, we’re on a mission to redefine growth for organizations and brands through unparalleled digital experiences that inspire action and deliver results. With transformative experimentation as our guide, we bridge bold ideas with practical solutions to create lasting impact.

We are a growth optimization agency that partners with mission-driven and high-growth companies to scale through data-driven experimentation. Our expertise spans A/B testing, personalization, and full-funnel digital strategy, empowering clients to make smarter decisions that drive measurable results.

Our fully remote team of strategists, analysts, engineers, and designers works across industries including eCommerce, fintech, nonprofit, and hospitality. We believe in autonomy, collaboration, and innovation as we help our clients grow smarter and faster.

About The Role

The Director, Integrated Growth Strategy, is a player-coach for a portfolio of complex, integrated digital engagements, leading a pod of integrated growth strategists in service of client outcomes. The right person will have a strong track record of building cross-channel digital strategies that translate business objectives into cohesive roadmaps, leveraging data insights and experimentation to drive measurable impact for clients. Core to the role includes revenue performance (retention, expansion, forecasting), executive influence, and successfully managing a team of integrated growth strategists to deliver at a consistently high bar.

This is a senior role requiring executive presence in a remote environment, with strong judgment, crisp communication, and the ability to drive alignment across internal and client

Core accountabilities
  • Integrated digital strategy leadership: Lead end-to-end digital strategy across web, lifecycle/CRM, paid media, and product-led growth for a portfolio of complex engagements, ensuring channels work together toward shared business outcomes.
  • Enterprise roadmaps tied to business objectives: Build strategic, cross-channel roadmaps that connect company goals to sequenced initiatives across touchpoints, teams, and business units. Identify new value creation opportunities through integration, not channel-by-channel optimization.
  • AI understanding, leverage and evangelism: Incorporate consumer behaviors with LLMs into strategies (e.g., AEO, GEO); leverage AI to accelerate strategy, analysis, and execution across integrated programs; evangelize responsible, effective AI adoption through enablement, playbooks, and stakeholder coaching to scale impact across teams.
  • Executive influence and thought leadership: Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders, elevating digital maturity and aligning leaders on priorities, tradeoffs, and operating approach across org silos.
  • Cross-functional alignment: Champion alignment across client and internal teams (strategy, analytics, creative, engineering, paid, lifecycle), creating clarity on roles, decision-making, and how work connects across channels.
  • Team leadership and capacity building: Grow, retain, and develop strategists; support staffing and hiring to meet portfolio needs; step into complex strategic or interpersonal challenges that threaten program cohesion or outcomes.
  • High-stakes moments: Lead strategy for complex onboardings and major pivots, establishing the strategic foundation, shared roadmap, and early wins that build executive confidence.
What success looks like
  • Cross-channel roadmaps are clear, aligned to business goals, and drive measurable progress across key growth drivers.
  • Experimentation is embedded across teams and business units, with stakeholders bought into a shared strategy and operating model.
  • Executive stakeholders rely on you for prioritization, tradeoffs, and direction across digital touchpoints.
  • Integrated programs run smoothly across silos, with fewer disconnected initiatives and more compounding impact.
  • Team capacity scales with complexity, and strategy quality stays consistently high.
Experience we’re looking for
  • 10+ years in digital strategy or growth strategy with deep experience integrating digital channels into a cohesive strategy that drives results
  • Agency or consulting experience is a must
  • Proven ability to build enterprise-level digital roadmaps tied to business objectives and align stakeholders across functions.
  • Strong understanding of analytics and leveraging data insights to inform strategies
  • Executive presence and comfort leading high-stakes strategic conversations with senior stakeholders.
  • People leadership experience, including hiring, providing feedback, coaching, and guiding staffing/hiring decisions.
Nice to have
  • Experience elevating digital maturity in large organizations (governance, operating cadence, enablement, decision frameworks).
  • Familiarity with measurement approaches that support cross-channel prioritization (incrementality, causal testing, decision-quality reporting).
  • Experimentation and A/B testing.

Important Note: Cro Metrics is a U.S.-based remote company and is not able to hire in CA, AK, WA, OR, HI, NY, or NJ, or outside of the United States.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
