Summary:

We are seeking an organized, energetic, and results-driven Director of New Homes & Strategic Accounts to join our channel partner team. In this role, you will work to increase sales and strategic partnerships within PosiGen’s channel partner program. Our ideal candidate has a strong history of successful sales management, possesses innate leadership qualities, excels in maintaining client and industry relationships, and has a real passion for sharing the values of PosiGen.

Essential Job Functions

  • Maintain strong relationships with assigned accounts, with a specific focus on New Home partnerships, to grow their volume with PosiGen in a compliant manner
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to evaluate performance, assess potential, identify operational and business risks, and deliver insights to all stakeholders
  • Develop a strategy to grow our Strategic Accounts & New Homes footprint and work with various stakeholders across PosiGen to execute
  • Travel within your territory to meet clients one-on-one
  • Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
  • Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential growth within PosiGen
  • Be accountable for the success of your assigned accounts, including providing reports to leadership on performance, risks, and opportunities 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to support the needs of your assigned accounts and PosiGen
  • Forecast sales, installations, and closes (monthly & quarterly) within your assigned accounts and report trends to leadership
  • Other duties as assigned by the leader

Competencies

  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with excellent command of Excel
  • Comfortable working in Salesforce.com (SFDC) to manage accounts, log activities, and more
  • Excellent communication skills (Email etiquette, Verbal negotiation skills, etc)
  • Comfortable presenting to Leadership 
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Ability to adapt quickly as things change
  • High-level comfort with business-to-business sales and a diversity of ecosystem partnership structures
  • Fundamental understanding of Residential Solar Financing

Education/Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or related field preferred
  • Successful completion of coursework in sales techniques, marketing, and communication may be advantageous
  • At least 4 years of experience in a business-to-business sales-related role with previous experience cold-calling and qualifying leads
  • 5+ years of experience in the Residential Solar Industry, with New Homes experience as a plus
  • 2+ years of experience supporting a diversity of business model partnership structures and ecosystem players
  • Experience supporting or selling solar financing options is strongly preferred 
  • Demonstrated commitment to financial inclusion, social justice, and/or access to clean energy

Physical Demands

  • The physical requirements outlined are essential for performing the core duties of this role.
  • Regular responsibilities include speaking, listening, standing, walking, using hands for handling or feeling, and reaching with arms.
  • Occasionally, the employee may need to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Lifting and moving objects up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds occasionally is required. Vision requirements include close, distance, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Base Salary

$110,000$130,000 USD
