The Operations Manager utilizes a deep understanding of data, automation, and AI applications, to drive AHEAD’s Resource Management transformation and continue to scale traditional Resource Management practices into efficient, data-driven and strategic ones, in support of the company's growth objectives. They will lead a team of Resource Coordinators to ensure optimal resource distribution, utilizing AI insights for data driven decisions in combination with company priorities. They will also closely partner with business stakeholders to learn key practice and business needs/priorities, as well as establish a dynamic partnership in driving improved staffing, capacity, and hiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership, Collaboration, and Consulting
- Align resource management strategies with Practice and organizational goals to promote long-term business success.
- Adopts a consultative approach to understand the business and recommend improvements to our internal/operational processes, as well as identifies opportunities to better serve the business.
- Collaborates with Practices and Operational Teams in the development of process updates, best practices, and opportunities for automation
- Team Management & Development
- Represent the Resource Management team in strategic discussions to articulate the team’s role, capacity, ability to influence, and opportunity to grow and evolve in relation to the broader Services business
- Develop strategic plans to ensure the scale of processes and systems to support each Practice’s requirements and resources, as well as the Resource Management team requirements and resources
- Coach and lead a team of Resource Coordinators to adopt a consulting-like approach to working with stakeholders, planning and allocating resources, as well as providing insight and advice to hiring managers
- Create training and development plans for the Resource Coordinators in alignment with the strategic direction of the function
- Monitor workload capacity to prevent employee overallocation, optimize capacity, and help drive efficiency.
- Ensures speed of fulfillment of staffing requests, and works collaboratively with Practice Leadership and Resource Coordinators to remove any barriers to fulfillment, or devise a course of action to drive to resolution
- Process & Technology Advancement
- Identify, develop, test, and rollout use cases for AI technology in collaboration with business leaders
- Drive the monitoring and analysis of resource utilization and capacity metrics to inform and drive dialogue with Practice leadership on how to identify areas for staffing improvement, capacity planning, and cost reduction
- Develop strategic plans for resource utilization, incorporating AI-generated predictions and recommendations
- Deploy tooling to analyze historical data, forecast future resource needs, and identify patterns to improve planning accuracy.
- Stays informed about emerging AI technologies in resource management and evaluates their potential for implementation
- Work closely with business leaders and BizApps to develop intelligent resource recommendation function within PSA to dynamically match resources with project needs based on skills, availability, and performance data.
- Continuous Improvement
- Outline strategic growth and evolution plan for the resource management function in alignment with AHEAD’s growth, scale, and expansion.
- Support the regular review of Resource Management processes and tools
- Optimize process and systems tied to employee’s skills (intake, periodic reviews, manager evaluations, etc.)
- Work with Practice Leaders to evaluate barriers to achieve optimal resource capacity (e.g. time slicing)

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
