  • Build and codify TailorMed’s partnership playbook and operating model, defining how partnerships are evaluated, launched, governed, measured, expanded, and scaled
  • Establish and track partnership KPIs, business objectives, and operating cadences to ensure delivery against strategic and financial expectations
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks, blockers, and areas of underperformance across the partnership portfolio
  • Identify, scout, and develop new partnership opportunities aligned with TailorMed’s strategic and commercial priorities
  • Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional execution across multiple internal stakeholders (e.g., product, R&D, sales, Implementation, marketing, etc)
  • Build business cases, assess strategic fit and economics, and support outreach, commercial structuring, negotiation, and execution of new partnerships
  • Bring insights from the market back into TailorMed’s broader strategic agenda
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in partnerships, business development, strategy, commercial execution, consulting, or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to build new initiatives or business areas where the strategy and operating model are still being defined
  • Experience in healthcare technology, digital health, life sciences, pharmacy, or provider organizations is required
  • Strong strategic, commercial, and analytical judgment, with the ability to assess opportunities, business models, partnership economics, KPIs, and performance
  • Relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex external engagements and create alignment across internal stakeholders
  • Energized by new and hard things, with the ability to move quickly, learn fast, and operate effectively in ambiguity
  • Strong sense of ownership, persistence, and follow-through, with the grit to navigate setbacks and keep momentum
  • Organized and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
