Leads product strategy, roadmap development, prioritization, product metrics, and go-to-market execution for a marketing planning and analytics platform. Manages and coaches product managers while acting as an individual contributor on key initiatives. Partners with the CEO, engineering, sales, marketing, and leadership teams to deliver API-based, data-heavy statistical and machine learning products for technical B2B SaaS customers.
The summary above was generated by AI

We’re hiring an experienced Product Management leader  to help us build the future of marketing planning and analysis. Recast’s platform includes a flagship marketing mix model and planning suite along with a platform for designing and analyzing geographic-level incrementality experiments all delivered through a user-facing application, public API, and MCP server.

At Recast, you will report directly to the CEO and work closely with the leadership team to convert business strategy into the product roadmap. You will work closely with engineering leadership to prioritize and scope work to maximize the amount of value created for our customers.

You will oversee our team of product managers as a player-coach. Because we’re a small (but mighty!) team you will need to own parts of the product as an IC while you also manage and upskill the team.

What you will do in your first 6 months:
  • Go deep on Recast’s product and customers: understand how our technical users engage with our products, what their needs are, and where the friction is.
  • Build a clear product roadmap for the next two quarters. Include a process for updating the roadmap as priorities change.
  • Co-own go to market: the work isn’t shipped until users are getting value out of the feature, so PMs are expected to work closely with marketing and GTM teams on how to successfully deliver products people are willing to pay for.
  • Set the standards for product metrics and how we measure success
  • Keep stakeholders across sales and leadership informed on what’s in flight and why
Things you probably have experience in:
  • 10+ years PM experience at B2B SaaS companies with meaningful experience in data or analytics products
  • A proven track record shipping complex technical products in a fast-moving environment
  • Shipping API products: you understand how technical customers consume your products and how to spec them clearly
  • Productizing data-heavy statistical and machine learning models
  • Working heavily with AI tools, and ideally thinking about how to utilize them to make new and better product experiences
Things that should excite you that might scare off other folks:
  • Translating PhD-level statistical research into executable engineering specs
  • Working closely with the CEO to (not a PM, strong product perspective) to build the roadmap and prioritize initiatives
  • Being part of a remote, async-first team spread across time zones where clear written communication is essential
  • Having a wide scope: you’ll be a player-coach both owning execution on certain product initiatives as well as managing a team
What we offer you:
  • Work wherever you're happiest. We're fully remote
  • Competitive remote salary along with early-stage equity
  • Highly skilled coworkers you can learn from and who are eager to learn from you
  • An async-first culture with a focus on documentation over standing meetings
  • Autonomy and support to do your best work in your own time
  • Your local holidays plus unlimited PTO (minimum 2 weeks mandatory PTO!)

Note: Recast is committed to building a diverse team so if you are from an under-represented background in tech (e.g., women, BIPOC, etc.) please apply even if you don't necessarily check all of the boxes here.

While Recast is officially based in the US, we're a fully remote team (one founder lives in Brooklyn, the other in Mexico City with team members in 6+ countries around the world). We can't sponsor visas at this time, however we are happy to have you join remotely from wherever you are.

If this sounds interesting to you, we'd love to learn more about you!

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
