Reporting directly to the VP of Business Development & Growth, this role sits at the intersection of technology, customer experience, and business strategy. You will influence not only what we build—but how we solve complex problems for our customers and scale transformative solutions across industries.

If you're a visionary leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, who thrives in dynamic environments and wants to redefine how industries think about automation, robotics, and next-gen solutions—this is your opportunity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and evolve a bold product vision that aligns with business growth and market leadership.

  • Uncover emerging opportunities, shifting customer needs, and tech trends to build forward-looking roadmaps.

  • Prioritize investment across the portfolio to deliver maximum business and customer impact.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing product team with a culture of ownership and innovation.

  • Establish and embed product management best practices, including agile methodologies and customer-centric design.

  • Act as a strategic thought partner across the executive team and board-level conversations.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Drive seamless collaboration between product, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams.

  • Partner with GTM leaders to shape product positioning, pricing strategies, and launch plans that win.

  • Ensure customer teams are enabled to deliver meaningful adoption and long-term value.

Customer & Market Intelligence

  • Own the competitive landscape and uncover whitespace for product differentiation and expansion.

  • Lead the voice-of-customer strategy, surfacing critical insights to guide product innovation and refinement.

  • Be the face of the product in client, partner, and analyst conversations.

Product Lifecycle Ownership

  • Oversee product performance from inception through scale—leveraging KPIs, insights, and feedback to drive iteration.

  • Make data-driven decisions around launch, enhancement, and product end-of-life strategies.

  • Champion a continuous improvement mindset across the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience: 10+ years in product management with 5+ years in a leadership capacity. Proven track record of leading complex product portfolios across software, SaaS, robotics, or automation environments.

  • Certifications: Agile, Scrum, or Product Management certifications (e.g., AIPMM, Pragmatic Institute) a plus.

COMPENTENCIES:

Strategic Visionary & Operator

  • You think big and execute precisely—aligning bold product strategies with tangible business outcomes.

  • Financial fluency and product-market fit are second nature.

Leader of Leaders

  • You’ve scaled and mentored teams that punch above their weight.

  • You drive accountability and energize those around you through vision, empathy, and clarity.

Customer-Obsessed, Data-Driven

  • You balance intuition and research, leveraging analytics, feedback, and testing to build what matters most.

Technically Fluent, Market-Savvy

  • You thrive at the intersection of product, technology, and market trends—especially in SaaS, automation, AI, or hardware ecosystems.

Master Communicator & Influencer

  • Whether presenting to executives or aligning cross-functional stakeholders, your communication skills inspire action and trust.

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
