WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Director of Product Marketing – Agentic AI sets the market strategy, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market direction for Duck Creek’s Agentic AI Platform and agent-enabled solutions. This senior individual contributor translates Duck Creek’s AI strategy and platform capabilities into differentiated market narratives, buyer value, launch plans, sales plays, and thought leadership that build confidence in the safe, governed, and measurable use of AI agents across P&C insurance. The role partners across Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Legal, Compliance, Sales, Customer Success, Professional Services, Alliances, Analyst Relations, and Marketing to align innovation with customer needs, market readiness, responsible AI expectations, and business value. The role exercises significant judgment in shaping an emerging category, prioritizing market opportunities, guiding strategic trade-offs, and influencing executive decisions across innovation, trust, adoption, differentiation, and growth. This role typically does not include direct people management responsibilities.

  • Set the product marketing strategy and priorities for Duck Creek’s Agentic AI Platform and agent-enabled solutions, aligning customer needs, market opportunities, company strategy, and measurable growth objectives.
  • Own differentiated positioning, messaging architecture, value propositions, and category narratives for agentic AI, translating complex platform capabilities into clear business value for insurance executives, business leaders, technical buyers, users, analysts, and partners.
  • Direct market segmentation, buyer and customer research, competitive intelligence, and category assessment to identify priority use cases, adoption barriers, white-space opportunities, and emerging sources of differentiation.
  • Influence product and business strategy by bringing market evidence, buyer insight, competitive context, and commercialization requirements into roadmap, packaging, ecosystem, and investment decisions.
  • Lead go-to-market strategy for Agentic AI Platform launches, agent-enabled solutions, reusable capabilities, and strategic market plays, establishing objectives, target audiences, cross-functional accountabilities, readiness criteria, timelines, and success measures.
  • Define the market narrative for responsible and governed agentic AI, clearly articulating Duck Creek’s approach to security, data grounding, human oversight, explainability, traceability, observability, compliance, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Provide strategic direction and governance for sales enablement, customer-facing content, demonstrations, thought leadership, launch assets, and partner materials, ensuring consistency, technical credibility, and relevance across the buyer journey.
  • Shape demand and market development strategies with Sales, Field Marketing, Demand Generation, Customer Success, and Professional Services, creating integrated programs that accelerate awareness, pipeline, adoption, expansion, and realized customer value.
  • Lead analyst, influencer, partner, and industry engagement strategies that strengthen Duck Creek’s credibility, inform company strategy, cultivate ecosystem opportunities, and establish a distinctive point of view on agentic AI in insurance.
  • Establish performance measures for Agentic AI product marketing and go-to-market initiatives; use market, customer, competitive, adoption, pipeline, and program data to evaluate impact, recommend trade-offs, redirect priorities, and communicate progress in executive and cross-functional forums.

  • Experience setting strategy and leading complex go-to-market initiatives that require alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Professional Services, Alliances, and executive stakeholders.
  • Experience positioning and commercializing AI, machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, automation, workflow, data, platform, or other technically complex enterprise solutions.
  • Experience developing differentiated positioning, messaging, segmentation, competitive strategy, sales enablement, thought leadership, and market-facing programs for multiple buyer and stakeholder audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders, guide strategic decisions, and lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority in a global, matrixed organization.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
