Sell assigned products and services using technical, organizational and customer knowledge to influence customers. Assist clients in applying products/services to their needs, resulting in revenue generation. In addition, the position may support the product development life cycle for products and services.
 

What you'll be doing:

  •  Lead customer needs analysis discussions and develops application of products and services. 

  • Work with Sales Reps to qualify active leads with applicable solution, scope, targeted close dates. 

  • Develops sales presentations; participates in product demonstrations and/or booth support activities at trade show events, conducts web-based product seminars and leads onsite application and/or technical product demonstrations. 

  • Supports Business Development from pre-sales support through presentations and demonstrations, sandbox evaluations, and provides strategic direction on the use of technology capabilities that may enhance opportunity for contract award. 

  • Assist with completion of application and/or technical RFI/RFP responses. 

  • Support effective transition of new accounts to Delivery / Operations team. 

  • Participates in sales forecasting and planning. 

  • Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers using established guidelines. 
     

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Travel will be required. 

  • Starting work at 8am EST (due to need to confer with European colleagues) 

What we look for:
 

Education

  • Bachelor´s Degree in the Life Sciences, Respiratory Science preferred, or equivalent relevant experience. 

 Experience

  • Excellent client relationship management skills, including proficiency in all types of communication. 

  • Minimum of three years of previous technical sales consulting experience, with advanced training in sales skills and exposure to formal sales methodologies. 

  • Knowledge of computer usage in a web-based environment, and exposure to clinical data management applications and/or concepts. 

  • Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner with excellent organizational and time management skills. 

  • Experience creating clear and usable documentation, with technical writing experience a plus. 

  • Proficient with technology, technical terminology and web-based applications. 

  • Experience with planning and coordinating work to meet project goals. 

  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced, team environment. 

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Google applications. 

  • Experience conducting teleconferences and remote presentations (such as WebEx). 

  • Experience interacting and coordinating with remote teams or international clients a plus. 

  • Excellent analytical skills, experience designing / applying software solutions to business process challenges. 

  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision. 

  • Ability to travel up to 40%.
