Position Overview:

The Director of Revenue Operations will be the strategic and technical engine behind Viral Nation’s go-to-market performance. This role owns the systems, data, processes, and forecasting frameworks that power our revenue organization. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to streamline operations, remove friction, drive adoption of our tools (primarily HubSpot), and unlock insights that accelerate growth. You’ll thrive here if you’re equal parts systems architect, data storyteller, and operational problem-solver, someone who loves puzzling through complex workflows and turning ambiguity into clarity and action.

Responsibilities:
  • HubSpot Ownership: Act as the company’s HubSpot authority, optimizing workflows, resolving bottlenecks, driving adoption, and ensuring the system scales efficiently across teams.
  • Data Quality & Reporting: Own CRM data hygiene, build and maintain dashboards, and deliver accurate, insight-driven reporting that informs business decisions.
  • Revenue Forecasting: Manage sales and revenue forecasts with precision, partnering across departments to model scenarios, track pipeline health, and flag risks and opportunities.
  • Operational Strategy: Identify and implement process improvements that streamline cross-functional workflows and increase revenue efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Talent, and Product to ensure tools, data, and processes align with broader business objectives.
  • Project Management: Lead multi-department initiatives from scoping through execution, ensuring clarity on timelines, integrations, and expected outcomes.
  • Tooling & Integrations: Evaluate, recommend, and deploy new tools or integrations that enhance operational performance and reduce friction across the revenue engine.
  • Insight Generation: Analyze performance data proactively, translate trends into action, and prepare clear, strategic presentations for senior leadership.
  • Team Leadership & Performance: Guide and develop RevOps team members, setting expectations, establishing standards for excellence, and maximizing their output through coaching, structure, and accountability.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 7+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Business Operations, with hands-on ownership of CRM systems and GTM processes.
  • 4+ years of leadership experience, with a demonstrated ability to coach teams, set high standards, and maximize performance.
  • Expert-level HubSpot proficiency, including workflow automation, reporting, dashboard creation, and data governance.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data, surface insights, and inform executive-level decisions.
  • Proven experience running accurate sales and revenue forecasts and partnering cross-functionally to manage pipeline and pacing.
  • High technical aptitude with the ability to evaluate tools, design integrations, and translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a curious, proactive mindset and the ability to navigate complex, multi-department workflows.

Viral Nation is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion in our agency. Viral Nation welcomes applications from people with visible and non-visible disabilities. Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the recruiting and selection process.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
