Job Overview
The Director of Sales & Frontline Curriculum is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs to enhance the capabilities of T-Mobile's sales teams and frontline employees. This role exists to ensure that frontline representatives possess the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to excel in their roles and drive business success. By creating and delivering effective training initiatives, the Director enables frontline employees to deliver exceptional customer experiences, maximize sales effectiveness, and contribute to the company's growth and profitability.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Develop Training Programs: Create and design comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of sales teams and frontline employees, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer experience standards.

·         Implement Training Initiatives: Coordinate the delivery and implementation of training initiatives, including workshops, webinars, and e-learning modules, to enhance the skills and knowledge of frontline representatives.

·         Curriculum Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of training programs through ongoing evaluation and feedback mechanisms, making necessary adjustments to optimize learning outcomes and performance improvement.

·         Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate with sales leadership, product teams, and other stakeholders to identify training needs, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with business strategies and objectives.

·         Define and lead a transformational L&D strategy that modernizes training design, incorporating digital-first methods, AI, and scalable content delivery systems.

·         Oversee a team of Sr. Managers, including a newly formed Training Transformation team and content development teams focused on Onboarding and Continuing Education. Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.

·         Guide instructional strategy and design frameworks rooted in adult learning theory and innovation. Advocate for personalized, just-in-time learning experiences (e.g., microlearning, mobile learning).

·         Implement data-driven evaluation strategies to measure training effectiveness, learning transfer, and ROI. Leverage insights to improve future programs and inform leadership.

·         Evaluate, adopt, and oversee implementation of emerging learning technologies, platforms, and vendors to enable innovation at scale.

The Experience You’ll Bring

·         10+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing cross-functional teams.

·         Proven experience leading large-scale learning transformation initiatives, including adoption of AI-powered learning solutions and modern instructional design strategies.

·         Demonstrated success in leading organizational change through training innovation, digital content, and agile development approaches.

·         Expertise in adult learning principles, learning technology ecosystems (LMS/LXPs), and performance-based instructional design.

·         Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a track record of building high-performing teams.

·         Bachelor’s degree in education, Organizational Development, Instructional Design, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

QUALIFICATIONS/WORK EXPERIENCE

·         Ability to communicate effectively across team and organizational boundaries to drive and develop consensus.

·         Ability to complete cost/benefit analysis (manage site P&L) to increase the bottom line financials and goals

Base Pay Range: $184,100 - $249,100

Corporate Bonus Target: 25%

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as qualifications and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year.
