About the RoleThe Director of Sales Life Sciences-Enterprise role is ideal for a strong leader that has played a key role driving sales on a high performing Life Science Sales team, in a fast-paced Health Tech start-up environment. You will lead and implement GTM strategies to grow the prospect pipeline, accelerate sales cycle and navigate legal/procurement processes to close deals with enterprise (top pharmaceutical & biotechnology) accounts. This individual will report to the SVP, Life Sciences & Client Solutions and work closely with the leadership team to facilitate our commitment to impactful innovation, exceptional service and fastest return on investment.
ResponsibilitiesDrive the sales and assist business development teams to achieve Sales and Bookings targets with enterprise clients. Enterprise clients are defined as the top 50 pharmaceutical and life sciences companies.
Perform lead generation activities with prospects and customers to qualify
Assist with the development of a comprehensive account strategy
Expand Atropos Health market presence in the RWD market
Secure contracts with life sciences firms, showcasing Atropos Health’s value and paving the way for substantial contract growth
Develop and execute a robust customer engagement strategy, fostering loyalty, identifying opportunities, and amplifying Atropos Health advocacy for utilization across multiple stakeholders
Collaborate with strategic partnerships to increase our strategic partnerships revenues
Provide bookings and revenue projections for your market area
Working knowledge of RWD, RWE, Medical, R&D, HEOR, Analytics & Commercial use cases and how life sciences data is best applied
5+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical / life science industry in the following areas: sales, consulting, analytics, including at least 3 years of client facing sales roles
Working knowledge of RWE / RWE / HEOR / Medical / R&D / Data Science / Commercial use cases
Demonstrated ability in building relationships with small, medium, and large pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Technical data prowess for US pharmaceutical data
Proven experience identifying and developing champions
Self-starter with a healthy competitive drive to succeed. Hungry to learn
High EQ team player with a positive, collaborative attitude
Proven ability to work independently and juggle multiple high-priority deliverables
Strong verbal and written communication skills
History of team leadership and capabilities building sales teams
Ability to clearly and concisely distill complex ideas and projects to non-technical stakeholders
Attention to detail, adherence to process and organization
Education - Bachelor’s degree
Must have the ability to travel
Overnight travel may be required as well as frequent air travel
The Director of Sales, Life Sciences (Enterprise) reports directly to the Chief Growth Officer.
