Iron Mountain is seeking a strategic and visionary Leader of Software and Cloud Procurement to join our Global Procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the end-to-end sourcing strategy for approximately $300 million in annual software, Software as a Service (SaaS), and cloud expenditures while leading a high-performing global team.
You will join a dynamic leadership team dedicated to centralizing strategic oversight and leveraging global volume to drive unified procurement excellence across all regions.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
Strategic Sourcing Leadership. Define and evolve the global software and cloud procurement strategy to achieve long-term cost optimization, vendor consolidation, and technology enablement that aligns with enterprise business goals.
Executive Stakeholder Collaboration. Partner with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) leadership levels to shape high-impact enterprise agreements, commercial reciprocity initiatives, and strategic partnerships that drive reciprocal value creation.
Global Governance and Compliance. Establish and refine standardized sourcing policies, supplier segmentation models, and contracting frameworks to ensure worldwide compliance with organizational standards and technology roadmaps.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:
12+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, including at least 3 years of leadership experience managing global teams and governing enterprise-scale spend.
Strong knowledge of the software and cloud vendor landscape, including major hyperscalers and enterprise-license providers, with a deep understanding of how cloud economics drive Profit and Loss (P&L) and Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA).
Proven ability in executive partnership and talent development, with a track record of advising C-suite leaders on complex deal recommendations and mentoring procurement professionals to build a high-performance culture.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or Finance; a Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) accreditation is preferred.
