If you're passionate about building world-class user experiences, leading through change, and inspiring a team to achieve new heights, we want to hear from you.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead, Mentor & Grow: Oversee and cultivate a multidisciplinary team of approximately 12 (including Product Designers, UX Research, and a Design Manager), with the potential to expand the leadership structure. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture.
  • Define UX Strategy & Vision: Develop and champion a compelling UX strategy for HubSpot's Fintech products, covering the end-to-end customer journey from buying and billing to pricing and packaging.
  • Drive AI-First Transformation: Spearhead the integration of AI-driven solutions and AI-first thinking within the design process and product experiences. Innovate on how AI can enhance efficiency, enable product-led growth, and create sophisticated upgrade motions.
  • Master Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a key design leader and advocate, working closely with wider Design Leadership, Product Management, Engineering, System Business Analysts, Operations, Pricing & Packaging, Finance, Sales, and Go-To-Market teams. Confidently present strategies and solutions to executive leadership.

  • Optimize for Impact: Strategically allocate and optimize design resources to deliver the maximum impact on our core products and business objectives.
  • Champion Design Excellence & Craft: Uphold and elevate the quality of design execution across the team, ensuring solutions are user-centered, innovative, and beautifully crafted.
  • Lead Change & Build Cohesion: Inspire and unify the Fintech design team, fostering a strong sense of shared purpose and identity. Drive effective change management processes, including performance development, to build a resilient and adaptive team.

What you’ll bring (Required Qualifications):

  • The ability to build, coach, and retain high-performing teams and foster growth in both ICs and managers.
  • Deep expertise in the Fintech domain, with experience in areas such as billing systems, financial services, or B2B/B2C payment solutions.
  • A strong "AI-first" mindset, with experience or a keen understanding of how to leverage artificial intelligence to create better user experiences.
  • A strong point of view on quality and the ability to inspire teams to achieve it.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex problems and business requirements into simple, elegant, and effective design solutions.
