Summary:
The Director, UX/UI will serve as a senior UX leader responsible for defining enterprise UX strategy, implementing Design Ops, scaling modern design practices, and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver measurable business and customer impact.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Build upon Xpanse’s enterprise UX vision and strategy aligned to business objectives, platform scalability, and customer outcomes, ensuring intuitive, consistent, and measurable experiences across all of our digital products.
Actively guide the responsible adoption of AI-enabled design, research, and prototyping tools to improve speed, insight, and design quality, while establishing standards and best practices for their use.
Provide executive oversight of design systems and UX governance, ensuring scalable, accessible, and well-adopted systems that align design and engineering across enterprise platforms.
Establish UX metrics and KPIs to measure experience quality and business impact, and communicate UX insights to executive stakeholders through data-driven storytelling and strategic recommendations using modern AI tools.
Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing UX teams while fostering a culture of experimentation, systems thinking, continuous learning, and modern UX craft with AI powered workflows.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial role.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
None Required

Problems and issues faced are difficult. Problems typically impact multiple departments. Problems are typically solved through drawing from prior experience and analysis of issues.
