Pay Rate Range: $18 - $22 per hour

Schedule:
8, 10 & 12 hours shifts, Monday - Sunday
Weekend availability is required

Responsibilities:
Call Management: Handle high-volume intake calls, prioritize, and dispatch using CAD systems
Resource Coordination: Determine the appropriate level of care and coordinate transport activities with field EMTs
Customer Service: Provide courteous, friendly service to medical facilities, the public, and fellow EMS staff
Trip Assignment: Assign trips to the appropriate resources based on needs and availability
Billing Support: Collect patient billing information and assist with pre-billing activities.

Requirements:
High School Diploma / GED
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years of transportation dispatch experience (EMS dispatch preferred)
Emergency Medical Technician - EMT experience
Strong geographical knowledge of service areas
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
Proficiency in typing (40-45 WPM) and data entry experience
Familiarity with computer-aided dispatch (CAD) software
