Work with Design Engineering to run simulations, provide feedback on lessons learned, assist in completion of the pre-silicon checklist and work with manufacturing teams to define what tester resources are required. Work with Probe Engineering and the PE product groups to modify programs for specific product requirements or limitations to ensure that silicon performance meets expectations. Support Probe Engineering by aiding in debug of probe program, data analysis, and test development. Support the Fabrication sites and Process Integration through front end test development to maximize effective process feedback. Debug and identify root causes for failures using data, electrical and physical analysis techniques. Utilize techniques to modify existing Probe testing strategies to improve quality and maximize yield. Monitor yields to ensure they are meeting projections and expeditiously investigating root causes when they are not. Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing and Marketing, including creating and delivering presentation, participating in meetings with Fab, design teams and prioritizing work with other groups. Provide technical training and expertise, including providing on-the-Job training (OJT) for new engineers, assisting with data interpretation, acting as a product-specific point of contact and attending technical seminars. Support critical initiatives through support of high value-added projects. Improve global team through constructive feedback. Support local team by developing tools to improve processes.
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, or related field.
Position requires education or experience in:
1. CMOS transistor behavior, semiconductors, and integrated circuits;
2. Testing & Fault Diagnosis in Silicon Chips;
3. Post-Silicon Validation & Hardware Debug;
4. Verilog Hardware Simulation;
5. Data Analysis for Yield Optimization and Failure Prediction;
6. Power Delivery & Integrity for Silicon Testing.
