What will you be doing?
This role will consult with our client on E-Commerce market trends and provide strategic recommendations for short and long-term growth opportunities. We’re looking for candidates that can summarize data and observations into compelling insights and identify meaningful actions to move the client’s business forward. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, clear storytelling, the ability to communicate insights effectively to drive impact and identify commercial revenue opportunities for Circana. As the engagement manager you will play a pivotal role in providing Circana point-of-view on industry trends to the client and bringing new Circana solutions to the table, transforming data into actionable insights and compelling narratives that drive business decisions forward.
Job Responsibilities
- Drive Client Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships by aligning Circana’s data and solutions with their strategic goals.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Insights, Product, and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
- Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on trends in retail, specifically eCommerce, to position Circana as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
- Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organizations, including decision-makers and influencers.
- Utilize Sales Tools and Platforms: Leverage Circana’s proprietary platforms (e.g., Unify+, Liquid Data, Intelligence Suite) to support client engagements and solution delivery.
- Achieve Revenue Targets: Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account planning.
- Champion Client Success: Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consistent value.
- Advanced Analytic Skills: Demonstrated ability to conceive, manage, and deliver fact-based analyses, with a focus on consumer solutions, providing clients with clear, actionable insights to inform strategy.
Requirements
- E-Commerce Industry Knowledge: Experience with E-Commerce market trends and application to CPG retail industry.
- Ability to Manage Key Stakeholder Groups: Ability to establish good relationships and credibility with different stakeholder groups (internal and client stakeholders) to be viewed as a highly credible and trusted advisor.
- Client-Focused: Proven track record of interacting with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering solutions that meet or exceed their expectations.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Familiarity with Unify and Circana data assets: Familiarity with the creation of reporting content in Unify.
- Technology and AI Enthusiast: Willingness to embrace new technologies and a passion for leveraging innovative solutions to drive business value.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skillset: Proven ability to leverage data in innovative ways to best solve client problems, including cause/effect analysis and a high degree of innate curiosity required.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Location: This position can be located in the following area(s): Remote (US), Central or Eastern time zones. Preferred location is in Cincinnati, OH area to go into client office on an as needed basis for key meetings/interactions.
The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 to $92,000.00 USD.
This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
