Electrical Engineer/System Designer - High End Resi (Remote US Based)
Be an Early Applicant
Design and produce electrical system layouts, load calculations, and construction documentation for high-end residential and light commercial projects. Perform takeoffs, proposals, estimating, field/RFI support, and collaborate with sales and clients to deliver compliant, constructible electrical systems.
You Are:
- An experienced residential Electrical Engineer/System Designer with experience in luxury residential for many years. You are good with people and feel comfortable collaborating with a sales team along with direct client interaction. You love technology and are passionate about the creation of systems that enhance the lives of clients and enjoy working with a team to deliver on that goal.
You Have:
- Experience with Design/Layout/Drafting and proposal creation for residential electrical systems using tools such as CAD & Revit (Ideally), estimating, field & RFI support. A steady work history (3yrs between hops), a pleasant disposition, Hiqh EQ.

- This position is FULLY REMOTE
- Already US Based (No Visa Sponsorship)
Your Schedule:
- Full Time (40hrs/Wk): Mon-Fri from 8:00am to 4:30pm

Your Contribution to Holm Electric:
- Perform electrical takeoffs for residential and commercial projects.
- Creation of design and engineering documentation for electrical systems implementation in high end residences and light commercial applications
- Understand design software (ideally AutoCAD, D-Tools, Planswift)
- Deep understanding of electrical systems, NEC, load calculations, engineering circuits & distribution systems
- Understand the built environment and phases of construction projects
Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
- Experience designing electrical systems for residential and commercial projects.
- Strong working knowledge of the NEC
- Experience producing electrical drawings and construction documentation.
PREFERRED:
- Experience with AV or low-voltage distribution layouts.
- Familiarity with residential construction, commercial tenant improvements, service upgrades, and electrical permitting requirements.
