  • Strategic Analysis: Ensure communication tactics are grounded in thorough strategic analysis.
  • Stakeholder Identification: Identify key stakeholders and understand their impact on the achievement of organizational goals.
  • Message Alignment: Ensure products and stakeholder communications convey consistent messaging, both internally and externally.
  • Priority Alignment: Link day-to-day activities with NAVSEA and Naval Shipyard priorities.
  • Strategic Impact: Maximize strategic effects through associated communication processes.

Note: This position is contingent and will only be filled upon funding approval.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact daily with individuals, groups, and teams of mid- to senior-level NAVSEA and Shipyard leaders.
  • Meet with senior stakeholders to assess needs, establish goals, and create/implement communication strategies. Refine high-level leadership discussions, complex technical information, ideas, and meeting minutes into themes and storylines that personnel at all levels can easily understand.
  • Craft clear, consistent, and easily understandable content (language, formatting, and design) that helps shape the customer’s brand identity and message.
  • Participate in team meetings to develop organizational strategies, communication processes and pipelines, and content development.
  • Create products and distribute internal and external communication materials, e.g., articles, SharePoint posts, emails, graphics, and internal newsletters that highlight the successes of process improvement and innovation initiatives.
  • Maintain communication databases. Ensure contact lists, media lists, and other communication databases are up to date.
  • Update SharePoint content and manage analytics as needed.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish, track, and report metrics related to the customer’s goals and objectives.
  • Provide oral and written reports, talking points, and executive-level summaries of complex technical ideas, processes, and projects.
  • Interact with the customer via the telephone, video conferencing, email, chat, and in person as necessary.
  • Support the execution of contract requirements, which may include submission of supporting data and metrics and timely completion of written reports to stakeholders, customers, and CACI leadership.
  • Other duties may be assigned in support of contract taskings and mission success.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Adept at creating compelling visual imagery and editing text to produce high-quality multimedia content using various tools and techniques to enhance the aesthetic and communicative value of digital content.
  • Willingness and ability to experiment and invent new approaches to provide the highest caliber service to our customers.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation; ability to respectfully communicate with customers at all levels of the organization in a professional, effective manner that achieves successful outcomes.
