F5, Inc. seeks Engineer I in Seattle, WA:

Job Duties: Work closely on the delivery of loosely coupled software components and microservices integrated in public and private cloud architecture. Responsible for working on a variety of technical problems of varying scope & complexity, being able to design, implement, and test new functionality under general supervision, collaborate with peers under the direction of technical leads on assigned project teams. Collaborate with technical leads to design, code, and test robust, scalable, loosely-coupled components that integrate into public and private cloud infrastructure. Consistently apply good software design, implementation, and test principles. Complete on-time delivery of features and bug-fixes with high quality. Work in an agile environment optimized to enable development teams to iterate quickly. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from F5 offices in Seattle, WA.

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or related quantitative discipline, and nine (9) months of experience in job offered or in any occupation in a related field.

Special Skill Requirements: (1) C or C++ programming language; (2) Go programming language; (3) Cloud computing; (4) Docker; (5) Kubernetes; (6) Computer architecture; (7) Computer networks; (8) Computer operating system; (9) gRPC; (10) Security and Cryptography; (11) Quantum computing; (12) Algorithms; (13) Data structures; and (14) Machine Learning. Any suitable combination of education, training and experience is acceptable. Part-time telecommuting is an option. Hybrid work from F5 offices in Seattle, WA.
