Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly technical Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers working to unlock efficiency for hospitals and their suppliers. Your team will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining end-user facing features that power our core product experience.

The role is ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the code and product, working cross-functionally to shape how users interact with the platform while ensuring a strong technical foundation behind the scenes.

You’ll be accountable for technical direction, system design, and delivery of user-facing functionality, while also managing and developing the engineers on your team.

About You

  • You have 6+ years of software engineering experience and 2+ years leading engineers as an engineering manager

  • You’ve led teams building end-user facing features and care deeply about product quality, usability and performance

  • You can translate product requirements into technical plans, and drive projects from concept to production with high accountability

  • You have hands-on experience with our core tech stack: Python, React, Typescript. You've shipped production code and can contribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions

  • You’re a strong collaborator who builds alignment between Engineering, Data, and Product teams

  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying technical concepts to diverse audiences and keeping leadership informed through clear, actionable updates.

Things You’ll Do

  • Define the technical strategy for your team’s products and collaborate cross-functionally to align technical solutions with business goals

  • Lead technical execution, including system design, architecture, and operational excellence, to ensure quality, reliability, and scalability

  • Remove blockers and establish processes that enable your team to move quickly and communicate effectively

  • Hire, mentor, and grow engineers, providing clear and actionable feedback
