About RapidFort

RapidFort is changing how organizations manage software vulnerabilities.

Traditional security tools find vulnerabilities and leave engineering teams with an ever-growing remediation backlog. RapidFort goes further — helping organizations automatically reduce vulnerabilities and shrink their software attack surface while accelerating compliance.

We work with enterprise, highly regulated, and U.S. government environments where security matters.

We’re growing our enterprise sales team and looking for proven new-logo hunters who want to help build the next stage of RapidFort.

The Opportunity

This is a true enterprise hunting role.

You’ll own a territory, build pipeline, open new enterprise accounts, and manage complex sales cycles from first conversation through close.

You’ll sell directly to CISOs, security leaders, platform engineering and DevSecOps teams, supported by Solutions Engineering and direct access to RapidFort’s leadership.

This is an opportunity for someone who wants more than a territory to manage — you’ll have a voice in how we sell, where we compete, and how we grow.

What You’ll Do
  • Build, develop and close net-new enterprise business
  • Create pipeline through strategic outbound, your network, partners and RapidFort’s GTM programs
  • Develop relationships with CISOs and senior security, cloud and engineering leaders
  • Own complex, multi-threaded enterprise sales cycles from discovery through technical evaluation, procurement and close
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering to deliver successful technical evaluations and proofs of value
  • Build territory and account strategies that consistently deliver against quota
  • Use a structured sales methodology such as MEDDPICC to qualify and advance opportunities
  • Maintain disciplined pipeline management and accurate forecasting
  • Work with partners and cloud ecosystems where they accelerate opportunities
  • Bring customer and market intelligence directly back to leadership and product teams
What We’re Looking For

We’re less interested in checking boxes than in what you’ve actually sold and won.

You should bring:

  • A strong track record of closing net-new enterprise software or cybersecurity business
  • Experience building pipeline rather than relying solely on inbound opportunities
  • Success navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
  • Experience engaging CISOs and other senior technology and security executives
  • A history of meeting or exceeding quota
  • Strong territory planning, qualification, negotiation and forecasting skills
  • The ability to sell business value while working effectively with highly technical buyers
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast-moving growth company

Experience selling cybersecurity, cloud security, DevSecOps, application security, containers, Kubernetes or software supply-chain solutions is highly valued.

Why RapidFort

At RapidFort, you’ll have the opportunity to make an impact while the company is still at a stage where individual sellers can materially influence our growth.

You’ll have access to:

  • Differentiated cybersecurity technology addressing a major enterprise problem
  • Experienced Solutions Engineering support
  • Direct access to executive leadership
  • Significant ownership of your territory and sales strategy
  • Uncapped earning potential with accelerators
  • Equity participation and the opportunity to share in RapidFort’s growth
Compensation

Base Salary: $125,000–$175,000
On-Target Earnings: $250,000–$350,000
Commission: 50/50 structure, uncapped with accelerators
Equity: Stock options
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision and 401(k)
Location: Remote — United States

Final compensation will depend on experience, track record and location.

If you’re a proven enterprise hunter who knows how to create pipeline, open doors and close complex cybersecurity deals, we want to hear from you.

Come build with RapidFort.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
