At Gradient Labs, we're building the AI customer operations platform for financial services.

At Gradient Labs, we're building the AI customer operations platform for financial services.

Founded in 2023, we now work with some of the biggest names in banking and fintech. Our platform runs specialist agents, purpose-built for financial services, to eliminate manual work across customer support and back-office operations. Together, they give product and operations teams the visibility and control to trust every outcome.

We're a team of builders from companies like Google, Braze, Klaviyo, and Zendesk. If you're excited to tackle some of the hardest problems in AI and help shape the future of customer operations, we'd love to hear from you.

🎯 How you’ll make an impact

You'll be early enough to shape how we sell, not inherit a polished playbook.

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset and run your business with that mentality. Own the full cycle. Generate your own pipeline, run thoughtful discovery, diagnose and tailor solutions across complex organizations. You'll lead with our AI support platform and bring back-office work into the conversation when it's the right time for the customer.

  • Partner closely with AI Delivery. Selling here is a team sport. Our AI Delivery team gets customers live and helps them go deeper over time, and you'll work hand in hand with them through every cycle.

  • Build relationships at the top. You'll sit across the table from C-suite and senior ops or product leaders at some of the most forward-thinking businesses in financial services. These are the people driving real operational change inside their organizations, and you'll work alongside them as a trusted advisor on the realities of running customer operations in a regulated environment.

  • Define the motion. You'll co-build the sales process, qualification, and account strategy with our Head of GTM and the team. You’ll build our pipeline from scratch in a market where we're still a relatively unknown name, using cold outbound, industry events, and creative engagement like dinners, happy hours and direct mail. What works becomes how we sell.

  • Be a product evangelist. Together, we’ll build our brand presence in a market where we’re not yet a household name. You'll deliver live demos, tailored decks, and a clear point of view on AI customer operations in every conversation. Your insights flow straight back to product and engineering.

💡 What you’ll bring
  • Has 5–7+ years of enterprise B2B SaaS sales experience, including complex end-to-end deals at six- and seven-figure ACV. Bonus if you've sold an AI product, or into financial services or fintech.

  • Runs on a genuine hustle instinct. You build your own pipeline rather than relying on inbound, and you have a proven track record of being creative about how you get in front of prospects.

  • Leads with an entrepreneurial, high-agency mindset. You’re comfortable with ambiguity, keen to experiment, test a hypothesis, and iterate rather than follow an established playbook.

  • Has built C-suite relationships and runs consultative, value-based sales motions.

  • Knows the AI agent space well enough to hold their own with a curious CTO. You have the technical aptitude and charisma to evangelise a sophisticated AI product and tell a compelling story to prospects.

  • Has strong organisational skills. You can run a rigorous sales process, manage multiple stakeholders, and communicate clearly and proactively.

  • Excited about using AI inside our own sales motion, and comfortable with the rapid pace at which the AI space keeps changing.

Why join Gradient Labs?
