 Who we are:

Tria Federal delivers digital services and technology solutions that support the health and safety of veterans, service members and civilians. For two decades, federal agencies have relied on Tria companies to advance their critical missions and modernize their systems, so that they can uphold their commitment to the American people. Today, we are pushing the boundaries of possibility through partnerships and investments in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, developing solutions for the biggest challenges that government will face tomorrow.

We are proud to employ and support military veterans who bring mission-first mindset, technical expertise, and leadership qualities that strengthen our work. Veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses are strongly encouraged to apply.

The Enterprise Architect leads the end-to-end technical architecture strategy for the program, establishing the blueprint for how legacy systems and supporting infrastructure integrate into a unified, scalable, and secure acquisition modernization platform.

This role requires deep expertise in enterprise integration patterns, API-first design, data fabric architectures, and federal security frameworks (RMF, FedRAMP). The Enterprise Architect collaborates closely with platform partners and delivery workstream leads to translate business requirements into authoritative architectural decisions that govern the program's technical direction.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise IT architecture, with at least 5 years supporting large federal government programs.
  • Demonstrated expertise designing enterprise integration architectures involving multiple COTS platforms, legacy systems, and cloud environments.
  • Deep knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, data fabric concepts, and event-driven integration patterns.
  • Experience with FedRAMP-authorized cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP at IL2/IL4) and federal OIT architecture review processes.
  • Strong proficiency in architecture modeling frameworks (TOGAF, DoDAF, or equivalent).
  • Familiarity with federal security and compliance frameworks including NIST RMF and FISMA.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical field required; Master's preferred.
  • TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Direct experience with Appian platform architecture, including data fabric, process automation, and integrations in federal environments.

What you need to know about the Seattle Tech Scene

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
