Building on nearly 50 years of success, we deliver Payload & Protection Systems, Aero/Hydrodynamic Interstage Systems, and Propulsion & Launch Systems to more than 80 prime contractors supporting over 130 space and defense programs.

This role converts acquisitions and enterprise initiatives into clear, repeatable integration plans, decision-ready reporting, and measurable business outcomes. You will support portfolio governance, M\&A and site integration, enterprise transformation, and cross-functional readiness. Working closely with business, technology, and site leaders, you will maintain integrated plans, track decisions and risks, coordinate stakeholder alignment, and improve execution discipline across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains an enterprise portfolio view across business transformation, M\&A integration, business systems, cybersecurity, infrastructure, artificial intelligence (AI), compliance, and site initiatives.
  • Documents initiative purpose, ownership, intended outcomes, milestones, dependencies, risks, controls, resourcing, and benefit assumptions.
  • Supports prioritization based on strategic alignment, business value, customer impact, operational needs, compliance risk, capacity, and sequencing.
  • Maintains integrated acquisition and site-readiness plans, decision logs, RAID logs, dependency maps, readiness checklists, and executive summaries as the enterprise source of truth.
  • Coordinates cross-functional execution across Finance, HR, Legal, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Development, Cybersecurity, Business Systems, Infrastructure, AI and Data, site leadership, vendors, and advisors.
  • Applies practical Project Management Office (PMO) standards including charters, integrated plans, governance gates, readiness criteria, documentation, and closure reviews.
  • Leads selected lower-risk projects or workstreams and escalates material risks, scope changes, dependencies, and decisions in a timely manner.
  • Prepares concise, executive-ready portfolio reporting that highlights progress, milestone performance, dependencies, trade-offs, and decisions required.
  • Supports process readiness through interviews, workshops, current- and future-state documentation, gap analysis, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Maintains templates, dashboards, repositories, version control, and practical tools that improve PMO efficiency and support repeatable integration execution.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, information technology, engineering, operations, finance, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.
  • Three or more years of experience in project or program coordination, PMO support, business analysis, continuous improvement, transformation, operations integration, business systems, change management, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives involving business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, site teams, and leadership.
  • Experience maintaining project plans, milestone trackers, RAID logs, decision registers, action logs, readiness checklists, dashboards, status reports, or executive summaries.
  • Strong capability with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint, including the ability to translate incomplete or conflicting inputs into clear, decision-oriented materials.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, facilitation, documentation, and problem‑solving skills with the judgment to influence without authority and escalate issues appropriately.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, engineering, or another regulated multi-site environment.
  • Experience supporting M\&A or site integration, enterprise transformation, entity restructuring, enterprise resource planning (ERP) or business-systems programs, or an enterprise PMO.
  • Exposure to Epicor or another enterprise platform such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor, or NetSuite.
  • Experience with process mapping, Lean, continuous improvement, change readiness, training, or user adoption.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Planview, Power BI, workflow automation, or approved AI-assisted tools within applicable security and data-handling requirements.
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), Lean Six Sigma, Prosci, Agile, business-analysis, or a related certification.

And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
