Job Description Summary:
The Enterprise Account Manager is a direct sales "hunter" position responsible for bringing in new Enterprise business customers. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who couples sales skills with an understanding of data networking, security and managed network services, and the ability to effectively present and sell Fusion services to our prospective customers. The ideal candidate will have a track record of success in a networking sales role, preferably with a managed VPN service provider or related security or network services business.Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: (Other duties may be assigned.)
- Lead qualification, customer needs assessment, and closing of identified opportunities
- Maintain a strong sales funnel with multiple opportunities throughout the sales cycle each month
- Prepare quotes and proposals and make presentations to customers
- Establish and maintain a working knowledge of current and new products and services across the Fusion product range, keep up to date with new features and releases
- Work directly with prospects and partners on referred leads from the channel partner program
- Accurately forecast opportunities and log activities on a daily basis in Salesforce.com
- Meet target activity levels for calls, meetings, quotes and new opportunities added to the sales funnel each month
- Close sales at, or above, assigned goals
Education and/or Experience Requirements:
- Proven, consistent sales performance in the distributed enterprise data/telecom field
- Knowledge of telecommunications, data communications, networking, applications, internet industry, including competitive knowledge from an industry-wide perspective
- Highly effective cold calling, presentation and closing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a compelling and professional sales presence
- Proven ability to work effectively and successful from a home office environment with minimum supervision
- Proven track record of uncompromising ethics and integrity
- BA / BS required. Business or related field preferred
- 7+ years of successful data/telecom sales experience
- Highly successful track record in selling to distributed enterprise accounts and complex selling environments
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
