Role Overview
We're seeking a strategic, consultative, top-performing Enterprise Sales Executive to drive new logo acquisition and cultivate lasting relationships. If you have a deep understanding of fleet operations, transportation and logistics, plus, a proven ability to close complex enterprise deals - this could be the role for you.
At Optimal Dynamics, you’ll leverage your expertise engaging senior leaders at asset-based, enterprise-level carriers remotely and in-person traveling to interact with prospects face-to-face in the field. You’ll collaborate with our Sales Engineers & Customer Success team to deliver high-impact solutions. Your work will be integral to shaping the growth of Optimal Dynamics’ footprint in the industry during a pivotal growth point.
Key Responsibilities
- New Logo Acquisition: Identify and engage enterprise-level dedicated and/or for-hire (asset-based) carriers - close the deal!
- Consultative Sales Execution: Leverage industry experience to position Optimal Dynamics with senior leadership, drive creative deal strategies, and negotiate effectively.
- Relationship Management: Partner with Customer Success building and nurturing strong relationships across new and existing accounts.
- Customer Success & Advocacy: Proactively manage key issues and ensure long-term customer satisfaction and account health.
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all account activity in Salesforce.
- Market & Competitive Intelligence: Stay current on logistics and supply chain trends, and track competitive offerings and industry innovations.
- Travel: Travel up to 50% to engage with prospects face-to-face.
Non Negotiables
- Tenacious: From hunting new leads through closing the deal. You showcase initiative, hustle, and self-motivation.
- Experienced:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS or technology sales
- 3+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain solutions
- Educated: You’ve obtained a four year degree or have additional equivalent professional experience. You’re up-to-speed on the latest industry and technological advancements.
- Collaborative: A proven track record of collaborating across sales, customer success, and product teams.
- Consultative: Demonstrated capability of quickly building trust with all levels of leadership-specifically with executive level decision makers.
- Communicative: Exceptional oral and written communication skills with polished presentation abilities.
- Independent & Flexible: Successful working independently, remotely, and on the road getting face-to-face with prospects—this role is not office-based and requires 30-50% travel.
