Position Summary

The Enterprise Systems & BI Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing end-user dashboards within Microsoft Power BI and NetSuite environments. This role focuses on delivering high-impact, accessible, and polished reporting solutions while ensuring data consistency and alignment across platforms. Additionally, the analyst supports data analysis initiatives, including data cleansing, integration, and migration efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Revenue and Information Systems teams to gather requirements and support business intelligence and CRM initiatives.
  • Analyze and document business processes, including customer assignment workflows, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Evaluate current reporting and dashboards, identifying opportunities to improve usability, accuracy, and business value.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Oracle NetSuite to support decision-making.
  • Translate business needs into reporting requirements and deliver actionable insights through data analysis.
  • Investigate and resolve reporting discrepancies, ensuring data integrity and consistency across systems.
  • Serve as a resource for end users, providing support and guidance on reporting tools and CRM functionality.
  • Maintain clear documentation of reports, processes, and user requests within the Information Services help desk system.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to support onboarding, role changes, and organizational updates with minimal disruption to reporting and system access.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within data to support business strategy and operational improvements.
  • Ensure reporting outputs align with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) standards.
  • Follow established change control processes when updating or introducing new reports and dashboards.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and critical thinking by questioning existing processes and contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

 

Education & Skill Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience or relevant certification in business analytics will be considered.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI, including report and dashboard development.
  • Experience with Oracle NetSuite or a similar ERP/CRM platform preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to effectively navigate and leverage research and data tools.
  • Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics or similar data platforms is a plus.

  • It will be necessary to participate in upgrading courses from time to time to keep abreast of changing policy, technology, and growth.
