Position Summary:

The Enterprise Systems Manager owns the technical and functional administration of our core business systems (NetSuite ERP, Salesforce CRM top the list) and leads our data lake initiative. This strategic role establishes the data governance and integration architecture that enables data-driven decision making across Finance, Sales, HR, and Executive teams.

This is a highly visible role with direct impact on business operations and our ability to scale. You'll develop multi-year platform strategies, manage internal and vendor partnerships, and establish the foundation for a future team of 2-3 enterprise systems professionals.

Key Accountabilities:  

Enterprise Systems Ownership & Optimization 

  • Serve as functional owner of NetSuite (ERP) and Salesforce (CRM), including configuration, customization, and ongoing optimization
  • Develop and maintain multi-year Enterprise Systems roadmap, present regular business reviews to stakeholders, and identify opportunities for system consolidation and cost optimization
  • Own vendor relationships including contract negotiations, renewals, budget management, QBRs, and escalations
  • Partner with Finance to standardize accounting practices in NetSuite, improving forecasting accuracy and financial visibility
  • Drive process improvement initiatives that leverage system capabilities to reduce manual work and improve data quality
  • Collaborate with Sales leadership to optimize Salesforce configuration and establish system administration best practices, documentation standards, and change management processes 

Data Lake Strategy & Implementation 

  • Lead the design, governance, and implementation of a modern G&A data lake operational by EOY 2026, including requirements definition, vendor management, and acceptance testing
  • Define source-of-truth standards for key data domains (financial, customer, organizational) and establish data ownership across systems
  • Deliver 3-5 critical business reports/dashboards by EOY 2026 that drive executive decision-making 

Integration Architecture 

  • Determine need, timing, and evaluation plan for integration platform implementation (e.g., Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato)
  • Own integration architecture including API strategy, data flow design, integration monitoring, and standards documentation that supports scalable, maintainable connectivity
  • Ensure integration architecture aligns with overall IT platform strategy and security requirements 

Compliance & Governance 

  • Define and document control responsibilities for enterprise systems in partnership with GRC team, adapting controls based on evolving regulatory and compliance needs
  • Ensure enterprise systems meet data classification, retention, and security standards for PHI/PII handling
  • Support annual compliance audits with evidence collection, control testing, audit liaison, and maintain audit-ready documentation for system configurations, access controls, and data flows 

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 

  • Strong business acumen with ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Analytical mindset with focus on data-driven decision making and process improvement
  • Experience with financial operations and order-to-cash processes
  • Ability to design and deliver executive-level reporting and analytics
  • Agile project management capabilities including roadmap development, vendor management, stakeholder coordination, and ability to navigate ambiguity in high-growth environments
  • Deep functional and technical knowledge of NetSuite ERP and Salesforce CRM
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and integration patterns
  • Experience selecting and implementing integration platforms (Boomi, MuleSoft, or similar)
  • Working knowledge of data governance frameworks, master data management, and data quality practices
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS/Azure data services)
  • Understanding of API design, REST/SOAP protocols, and modern integration architectures
  • Basic SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise systems administration, business systems analysis, or similar role
  • 3+ years of hands-on NetSuite administration experience (Certifications preferred)
  • 2+ years of Salesforce administration experience (Certifications preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or managing data integration projects
  • Experience supporting SOC2, ISO 27001, HITRUST, or similar compliance frameworks
  • Proven track record managing vendor relationships and contract negotiations
  • Experience working in high-growth SaaS or technology companies
  • Experience with healthcare SaaS, healthcare data, or PHI/PII handling
  • Prior experience implementing data lakes, data warehouses, or business intelligence platforms
  • Familiarity with Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato or other integration platforms
  • Experience with HITRUST or HIPAA compliance requirements

Location: Remote anywhere within the US (Must be located in the US)

Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 annual base salary plus bonus, equity, 401k match, flexible PTO and medical/dental/vision insurance
