EPIC Consultant – Refuel Project


Location: New York


Hybrid | 3–6 Month Contract


Maslow Media Group is seeking highly experienced EPIC Consultants to support an upcoming EPIC Refuel project for a leading healthcare organization. This is an opportunity for seasoned EPIC professionals who have extensive build experience and a proven track record of successfully completing multiple Refuel projects.


This is not an entry-level consulting opportunity. We are looking for proven EPIC experts who can immediately contribute to a complex project environment and work independently with clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders.


About the Opportunity

  • 3–6 month contract engagement
  • Hybrid schedule, with approximately one week onsite per month, depending on project needs and assigned tasks.
  • Project work begins: Early October
  • Position is based in New York with convenient airport access for required travel
  • Consultants will support the EPIC Refuel project through build, testing, optimization, and project execution

EPIC Modules

We are specifically seeking consultants with current certification and deep experience in:

  • Clinical Documentation (ClinDoc)
  • Stork
  • ASAP

What You'll Do

  • Support EPIC Refuel project activities from planning and build through testing and implementation.
  • Analyze clinical and operational workflows and translate requirements into EPIC solutions.
  • Perform hands-on EPIC configuration and build within your certified module.
  • Participate in workflow assessments, solution design, testing, and validation.
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, technical, and project stakeholders.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations for effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain build specifications, workflow documentation, test scripts, and other project materials.
  • Support integrated testing, UAT, go-live readiness, and related project activities.
  • Work independently while managing priorities and meeting project deadlines.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute as a collaborative member of the project team.

What We're Looking For


Required:

  • Current EPIC certification in ClinDoc, Stork, or ASAP.
  • 10+ years of EPIC build experience.
  • Multiple completed EPIC Refuel projects with demonstrated hands-on experience.
  • 5+ years of recent EPIC consulting experience.
  • Proven experience performing hands-on EPIC build and configuration.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a consulting project team.

 

We are specifically seeking established EPIC consultants in their respective modules. This opportunity is not intended for candidates looking to gain their first consulting or Refuel experience.


References

As part of our selection process, two managerial references from within the last three years will be required before a candidate can be considered for the position and project team.

References should be individuals who can speak directly to the candidate's:

  • Day-to-day performance
  • EPIC consulting/build capabilities
  • Communication skills
  • Reliability and accountability
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Compensation

$85–$105/hour, depending on module expertise and experience.


Please note: Compensation will be discussed based on experience, certification, and module expertise. Candidates will be asked about their desired rate during the initial screening process.
