Position Summary

The Escrow and Payment Solutions Director owns the client experience from the moment a deal kicks off through closing and into post-closing administration - whether SRSA is engaged as Escrow Agent or Paying Agent for pre-closing solicitation. In practice, that means acting as the quarterback across clients (typically attorneys, private equity professionals, and CFOs), internal Operations team, and the Relationship Associate team, and other internal support teams to make sure the right people get paid the right amounts at the right time, every time.

This is a highly cross-functional, relationship-driven role as opposed to a purely technical one. No two weeks look alike: one day you're educating a client new to SRSA's process, the next you're coordinating a multi-party fund flow on a high-profile transaction. The role requires sound judgment and discretion, the ability to manage several time-sensitive workstreams simultaneously, and comfort working with a wide range of personalities and expectations under real deadline pressure.

The ideal candidate thrives on fast-moving, detail-oriented work with a clear sense of ownership, communicates with confidence and humility in equal measure, and brings a genuine sense of urgency and calm to complex, high-stakes situations.

If the candidate selected lives outside a 20-mile radius of the Denver office, they will be classified as a fully remote employee and in-person onsite visits to the Denver headquarters will be required on average four times per year.

Compensation: The salary range for this position is $120,000k - $155,000k

Home to tech titans like Microsoft and Amazon, Seattle punches far above its weight in innovation. But its surrounding mountains, sprinkled with world-famous hiking trails and climbing routes, make the city a destination for outdoorsy types as well. Established as a logging town before shifting to shipbuilding and logistics, the Emerald City is now known for its contributions to aerospace, software, biotech and cloud computing. And its status as a thriving tech ecosystem is attracting out-of-town companies looking to establish new tech and engineering hubs.

Key Facts About Seattle Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 287,000; 13% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Amazon, Microsoft, Meta, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, software, biotechnology, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $3.1 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Madrona, Fuse, Tola, Maveron
  • Research Centers and Universities: University of Washington, Seattle University, Seattle Pacific University, Allen Institute for Brain Science, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Seattle Children’s Research Institute
