First American’s Internship Program is a full-time, 10–12 week paid internship from June – August 2025 which can be worked from an office or remotely, depending on the job opportunity. As a First American Intern you will work in a program designed to help you gain experience and develop the technical, professional, and interpersonal skills that will be invaluable throughout your career. As a First American Intern you will gain exposure to working in a corporate environment within the Financial/Title Industry – balanced with intern-specific activities, executive level presentations and networking opportunities – while under the guidance of a manager and/or mentor. Undergraduate students are assigned significant work assignments to support specific business functions including Marketing, Human Resources, Technology, Accounting and Finance.

The Escrow Assistant Intern will work on various projects and assignments including:
- Open escrow orders and perform initial setup of files
- Work with a checklist to ensure receipt of all needed items into the escrow file.
- Interpret various agreements as they relate to closing and prepare documents required for transactions
- Obtain required escrow documentation in accordance with escrow instructions, policy and procedures, and applicable statutory and Federal regulations
- Audit calculations and legal documents for accuracy
- Communicates requirements and other information to clients

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00 hourly
This hiring range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay range for this position at the time of posting. Pay is based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
