This role reports directly to the VP of Marketing.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead Vibes’ strategic and tactical management of all in-person and virtual events, primarily industry trade shows at locations across the United States 
  • Travel to each industry event in cities across the US to set up & tear down any booth or meeting room presence; to collect and scan leads; and to provide backup to sales team within the booth during show hours. An ability to communicate and effectively describe Vibes’ products & value proposition is a must! 
  • Close coordination with Vibes marketing team and sales account executives on event marketing strategies, pre-show account outreach, and execution of programs designed to maximize lead generation and strong branding at Vibes-sponsored events 
  • Works with a variety of vendors and contractors to ensure event success for Vibes 
  • Serve as main day-to-day point person on marketing team for execution of all event-related campaigns across advertising, ABM, email, SEO/SEM, content syndication and other marketing channels 
  • Owns and manages Vibes internal events as well, such as Customer Advisory Board, Sales Kickoff, and others to be determined 
  • During periods when Vibes is not planning or going to events, this role will support the demand generation & marketing functions in other capacities – approximately 20% of time
  • Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and clients 

Requirements & Qualifications: 

  • 2-4 years of experience in a travel-heavy, hands-on, detail-oriented, event marketing role – B2B experience preferred, but not required 
  • Friendly; excellent verbal and written communication skills – is someone who thrives in a fast-paced, very social event environment 
  • Exceptional at “deadlines” - this position is highly deadline-oriented 
  • Demonstrated track record of effective project management and critical thinking skills 
  • Proactively identifies and develops solutions to problems 
  • Tech savvy: can learn new web-based interfaces quickly, strong working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) 
  • Ability to effectively manage relationships with on-site and off-site partners and team members 
  • Organized, motivated, and detail-oriented 
  • Strong time-management skills 
  • Professional, reliable, driven, and results-oriented

Compensation and Benefits

The base salary for this role is $60,000 - $80,000 annually. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills and certifications.
