About the Role:

Wing is seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Marketing Manager to join our Marketing, Communications & UX team.  We are looking for a strategic and results-oriented professional to lead our events and demo strategy, creating memorable experiences that effectively communicate Wing's value proposition to key business and industry audiences, as well as consumers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex, high-impact events, a knack for creating compelling and effective product demonstrations, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. • Manage all aspects of event planning and execution from concept to completion, including vendor negotiation, budget management, logistics, staffing, and post-event analysis.
  • Collaborate with Policy, Flight Operations and other stakeholders to design and deliver compelling, hands-on product demonstrations that resonate with technical and business audiences.
  • Partner with the Partnership and Policy teams to ensure events are strategically aligned with business development goals and effectively support lead generation and relationship building.
  • Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, including executives, marketing counterparts, creative agencies, and event organizers, to ensure seamless and successful event delivery.
  • Meticulously manage project timelines and deliverables, demonstrating exceptional multi-tasking skills and an unwavering attention to detail.
  • Develop and manage event-related communications, including pre-show promotions, at-show messaging, and post-event follow-up campaigns.
  • Analyze event performance and ROI, providing regular reports and actionable insights to key stakeholders to inform future strategy.
  • Be prepared for significant travel to manage events on-site and ensure flawless execution.

What You’ll Need:

  • 5+ years of experience in event marketing, with a strong emphasis on managing B2B and industry events, preferably within the technology, aviation, logistics, or mobility sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and executing engaging and effective product demonstrations or experiential marketing activations.
  • The ability and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, up to 60% of the time.
  • Exceptional project management and multi-tasking skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, polished event experiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Strong budget management and negotiation skills.
  • A self-starter attitude, with the ability to work independently and navigate ambiguity.
  • A genuine passion for future-facing technology and enthusiasm for Wing’s mission to revolutionize delivery.
