We are looking for an experienced Director / Sr Director of Marketing to help drive incremental value for our marketing team in the Invoicing Solutions industry. In this role, you’ll provide the strategic vision and direction to build the go-to-market and marketing strategies for our largest product led growth solution.  

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop and implement cohesive go-to-market strategies that drive growth for our largest solution, Invoice Simple, in a product led growth environment. 

  • Be accountable for customer acquisition, conversion rates, and revenue growth, not just top-of-funnel volume 

  • Identify and remove friction across the user journey to improve LTV and payback 

  • Define and execute the marketing PLG roadmap in partnership with Product and Data 

  • Drive marketing onboarding optimization, in-product conversion, pricing & packaging inputs, and lifecycle engagement 

  • Translate user behavior and product signals into growth opportunities 

  • Build and scale a rigorous experimentation culture (A/B testing, geo-testing, incrementality) 

  • Prioritize and execute high-impact tests across acquisition channels, onboarding, and in-product experiences 

  • Serve as team lead, directly supervising a team of talented, high-functioning managers and specialists across product marketing, acquisition, retention, lifecycle and partner management. 

  • Lead a team dedicated to improving the customer experience from acquisition to retention 

  • Develop and lead lifecycle marketing strategy, including acquisition, engagement, and retention campaigns 

  • Partner with central services marketing teams to bring multi-faceted strategies and campaigns to life, leading with an integrating marketing approach. 

  • Coordinate heavily with market leaders, growth and product leaders, and concisely analyze, report, and present performance and growth trends weekly, monthly, and quarterly.   

  • Accountable for delivery of demand generation programs for both existing customers and prospects, including digital, email, cross-sell, partners, webinars, and events.  

  • Measure and report on the effectiveness of all marketing programs and campaigns with the purpose of improving resource allocation, efficiency, and revenue generation.  

  • Support the content and brand strategies with optimization of market messaging and positioning; work with the creative, demand generation, and communications teams to amplify thought leadership, perceived value, and awareness of our brand(s).  

  • Manage and allocate budget with a tight focus on product pipeline impact and in line with the financial year, quarter, and monthly allocations.  

 

Skills and Experience Needed for Success in this Role:  

  • 10+ years of related industry experience – preferably with a product led growth motion and or SaaS organization.  

  • 10+ years of successfully developing and managing senior-level relationships and teams.  

  • 3+ years of experience in building and managing partnerships.  

  • Full stack marketing experience and deep understanding of the customer lifecycle stages and strategies to drive growth via new customer acquisition, expansion and retention 

  • Demonstrable success in achieving pipeline and customer acquisition growth goals.  

  • Excellent track record of driving highly creative marketing programs with measurable revenue growth in both sales led environment and product led growth structures  

  • Deep knowledge of demand generation mix including digital (paid and non-paid), email marketing, events, channel marketing, and webinars.  

  • Standout communication skills with an extraordinary ability to collaborate constructively and cross-functionally.  

  • Customer-focused mindset, driven to innovate, highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects while adhering to strict deadlines.  

  • Excellent communication skills, ability to forge relationships with key stakeholders, and experience with performance marketing and partnership programs are a plus.  

  • Knowledge of Marketo, Salesforce, and Asana is a plus.  

 

Where:   
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: 

Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise.
