We are looking for an Events Manager for our Service Nation brand to assist with the planning, production, and execution of high-impact conferences, trade shows, and live events. This individual contributor role is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of event strategies that drive customer acquisition, build brand awareness, strengthen partner relationships, and enhance attendee engagement.

The ideal candidate combines strategic event leadership with strong production, communication, technical, and operational skills. This role requires expertise in managing event logistics, speaker and vendor relationships, audiovisual coordination, sponsorship opportunities, and onsite event operations.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will help manage events that includes conferences, trade shows, partner events, and customer engagement opportunities varying in size, scale, budget, and location. You’ll work closely with the Head of Events, Events Managers, Marketing, Sales, and company leadership to execute successful events that support broader business objectives.

You’ll leverage your event experience, communication and technical skills, and creative, strategic thinking to manage all aspects of event production and execution. You are collaborative in your approach, thrive in fast-paced environments, and enjoy being part of a high-performing and dynamic team.

Event Strategy and Execution

  • Assist with the planning, production, and execution of conferences, trade shows, and live events
  • Develop and optimize event strategies aligned to business goals and measurable outcomes
  • Manage event timelines, budgets, schedules, and deliverables while ensuring deadlines are met
  • Assist with project management and coordination across event initiatives
  • Proactively identify solutions and process improvements to enhance event quality, efficiency, and attendee experience

Speaker, Sponsorship and Partner Management

  • Manage agreements with keynote speakers, breakout presenters, entertainers, emcees, and workshop facilitators
  • Identify sponsorship opportunities with industry partners and support the development of speaking engagements, breakouts, and thought leadership opportunities
  • Coordinate schedules and onsite logistics for presenters, staff, and partners
  • Manage speaker communications, contracts, presentation materials, and pre-event promotional appearances

Production and Technical Operations

  • Oversee audiovisual production and collaborate closely with third-party A/V vendors and venue technical teams
  • Assist with registration management in Cvent
  • Assemble and review presentation decks for keynote and breakout sessions
  • Troubleshoot basic A/V and technical issues independently

Event Logistics and Administrative Support

  • Coordinate travel and lodging arrangements when needed for speakers or internal staff
  • Arrange invoice payments and event-related purchasing through Coupa and other internal systems
  • Order utilities and services for exhibit spaces and event venues
  • Manage event budget tracking and reporting
  • Organize and execute event communication and support pre-event planning meetings
  • Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure successful deployment of event support assets, including booth builds, raffle prizes, signage, collateral, and booth activities

Onsite Event Leadership

  • Assist with onsite conference and trade show operations for hosted and third-party events
  • Manage event staff, volunteers, room monitors, and vendor partners
  • Conduct speaker rehearsals and sound checks
  • Resolve real-time event and presenter issues quickly and professionally
  • Oversee green room operations, stage management, attendee flow, and exhibitor support
  • Assist with onsite vendor management
  • Ensure contracted event deliverables are executed successfully

Collaboration

  • Partner cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Business Development, Operations, and executive leadership teams
  • Mentor and support junior team members when appropriate
  • Lead meetings independently
  • Proactively initiate communications with event stakeholders

Skills and Experience needed for success in this role:

  • 3-5 years of experience in event management, conference production, trade show management, or live event planning
  • Experience managing large-scale conferences and multi-day events
  • Experience sourcing and managing event talent, speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors
  • Knowledge of audiovisual production and event technology
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to make quick decisions and adapt under pressure
  • Proficiency with Microsoft, Cvent, and project management platforms
  • Strong attention to detail and operational discipline
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort and experience working long days and/ or weekends when needed for onsite events

Travel Requirements

  • Travel required for conferences, trade shows, and planning visits
  • Approximately 15--20% travel, including multi-day onsite event support

Where: Remote, US

The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:

The target base compensation for this position is $67,000-$72,000 USD per year in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
