EverPro, a business within EverCommerce, provides software and solutions designed to help home and field service businesses run and grow their companies with greater efficiency and confidence. EverPro brings together purpose-built tools across key trades—including field service, remodeling and roofing, landscaping, and pest and lawn—so service professionals can manage operations, engage customers, and drive long-term growth.

Our solutions support the full lifecycle of running a service business, from scheduling and dispatching work, to estimating, invoicing, and payments, to customer communication, reputation management, and business insights. Together, these connected solutions help service pros win more jobs, save time, and build stronger, more resilient businesses.

Winning a customer is only the start. The real work begins the moment someone subscribes: sending their first invoice, getting paid, and making Invoice Simple part of how they run their business every week.

As Senior Product Manager for our new Lifecycle Growth squad, you’ll own the customer journey after purchase. Your mission is to help new subscribers get value fast, build lasting habits and stay with us longer, turning activation and retention into a growth engine for Invoice Simple. You’ll lead a squad of engineers, design and data, and partner closely with Lifecycle Marketing, Payments and Customer Experience.

This is a builder’s role, and a chance to shape a brand-new squad from day one. We want a hands-on, AI-native product manager who prototypes ideas, runs their own analysis and ships experiments every week. You’ll report to the Head of Product, Invoice Simple.

What You’ll Own in Your First Year

  • A Lifecycle Growth squad up and running, with a clear strategy, roadmap and experimentation rhythm.
  • Faster time to first value: more new subscribers sending an invoice and getting paid in their first days.
  • Measurable gains in early retention and lower subscription churn, both voluntary and involuntary.
  • More customers adopting the features that keep them, especially payments.
  • A reactivation and win-back program that brings lapsed customers back.
  • Personalized, AI-driven onboarding and nudges that adapt to each customer’s business

Responsibilities:

  • Own the post-purchase onboarding journey across iOS, Android and web. Find the moments that predict long-term success, like the first invoice sent or the first payment received, and design experiences that get every new customer there faster.
  • Help customers build Invoice Simple into how they run their business every week. Drive adoption of high-value features like payments, recurring invoices and reminders, so the product becomes more useful the more customers rely on it.
  • Own retention and churn across the subscription lifecycle. Understand why customers leave, reduce involuntary churn from failed renewals, improve plan and billing experiences across the app stores and web, and win back customers who have lapsed.
  • Use AI and customer data to tailor onboarding, in-app guidance and messages to each customer’s industry, behaviour and goals. Prototype ideas yourself with AI tools and put them in front of customers in days, not months.
  • Build a disciplined experimentation program across product and lifecycle touchpoints. Define the metrics, design rigorous tests, read results honestly and scale what works.
  • Set clear direction for your engineers, designer and analyst. Partner with Lifecycle Marketing on in-app and email journeys, with Payments on adoption, and with Customer Experience to turn customer signals into product fixes. Make trade-offs, commit to dates and deliver.

Skills and experience needed for success in this role:

  • 8+ years in product management, including 2+ years owning growth, activation, retention or lifecycle outcomes.
  • Recent, hands-on use of AI-assisted prototyping or coding tools. Be ready to demonstrate something you personally built.
  • A track record of measurable gains in activation, engagement, retention or churn for consumer, SMB or self-serve subscription products.
  • Strong experimentation skills: sizing opportunities, designing rigorous tests and making decisions from results.
  • Fluency with data: comfortable running your own analysis in tools like Amplitude, Looker or SQL.
  • Experience with mobile subscriptions, app-store billing and lifecycle tools such as Braze or Segment is a strong asset.
  • Experience with payments, fintech or financial products is an asset.

Personal Characteristics

  • A builder at heart who would rather test an idea than debate it.
  • Fascinated by customer behaviour and what makes people stick.
  • Rigorous with data and honest about what the numbers say.
  • A clear communicator who rallies a squad and its partners around shared goals.
  • Biased toward speed and ownership: you ship often and own the results.
  • Excited to help one-person businesses succeed, without adding complexity.

Where

This role is based in Canada and may be performed remotely, with occasional travel for team and leadership meetings. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Benefits & Perks

  • Flexibility to work where/how you want within your country of employment – in-office, remote, or hybrid
  • Robust wellness benefits, including an annual wellness stipend
  • 3 weeks of vacation to start, a paid volunteer day of your choosing, plus 2 floating holidays to celebrate anything of significance to you
  • Continued investment in your professional development
  • Employee Stock Purchase Program
  • Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) with 4% company match

Compensation: The target base compensation for this position is $155,000 to $175,000 CAD. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
