About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated and highly organized Executive Assistant to support our CEO—someone who takes pride in this role, thrives in a fast-moving environment, and approaches each day with focus, reliability, and attention to detail. This role is essential to ensuring the CEO’s time, communication, and priorities are well-managed and aligned. The ideal candidate finds genuine fulfillment in creating structure, anticipating needs, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes. While the primary focus is direct support to the CEO, the role may also include coordinating key meetings for other senior leaders, supporting event logistics, and contributing to select projects that require strong organizational execution.
Location
Remote (U.S.), preferably based in Washington, D.C. Open to candidates located in Maryland or Virginia. Must align with Eastern Time Zone hours, with flexibility expected to accommodate executive support needs.
What You'll Do | 1. Executive Support
- Manage and optimize the CEO’s calendar, ensuring alignment with key priorities and sufficient time for strategic focusCoordinate and schedule Board meetings, Leadership Team meetings, investor touchpoints, and other ad-hoc meetings upon request
- Provide technical support during All Hands (e.g., screen sharing, Google Meet logistics)Track action items and follow-ups to ensure accountability and momentum
- Serve as a liaison to internal and external stakeholders while maintaining the highest standards of professionalismOperational Coordination
- Occasionally assist with scheduling external meetings for senior leaders (primarily across marketing and strategic partnerships) when needed
- Support the planning and execution of executive offsites, including accommodations, meals, and activities
- When needed, assist with internal events and milestones in collaborating with other teams Special ProjectsStep in on time-sensitive or high-priority projects that require detailed coordination or administrative support
- Contribute to efforts that improve the efficiency, clarity, and execution of executive operations
What You'll Do | 2. Operational Coordination
- Occasionally assist with scheduling external meetings for senior leaders (primarily across marketing and strategic partnerships) when needed
- Support the planning and execution of executive offsites, including accommodations, meals, and activities
- When needed, assist with internal events and milestones in collaborating with other teams
What You'll Do | 3. Special Projects
- Step in on time-sensitive or high-priority projects that require detailed coordination or administrative support
- Contribute to efforts that improve the efficiency, clarity, and execution of executive operations
What You Bring
- 5+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably in both startup and enterprise environments
- Strong commitment to the Executive Assistant profession
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
- Comfort working flexibly, including outside of standard hours when needed
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High degree of professionalism and trustworthiness in handling confidential information
- Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Asana (or similar project management tool), Zoom, Slack, calendar management platforms, and more
