What's the Short Version?

The Executive Assistant, CIO supports the Chief Information Officer and other IT Leaders and is responsible for performing a number of administrative duties including managing the executives' calendars, coordinating meetings, planning group events, tracking headcount, and managing space allocation. They are responsible for coordinating projects that may involve working with all levels of internal management and staff.


What Will You Be Doing?

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the CIO and other IT Leaders.
  • Schedule meetings and manage travel itineraries.
  • Arrange and coordinate IT department meetings and events.
  • Manage IT department event committee, and lead morale/celebration events.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations and other documents.
  • Own the New Hire experience for the IT department.
  • Track open and filled headcount.
  • Track and coordinate with staff to ensure completion of all action items for the CIO.
  • Process expense reports and invoices for the department.
  • Provide calendar assistance for IT executives.
  • Maintain budget and actuals budget comparisons.
  • Procurement of IT supplies and support for IT Procurement Team.
  • Maintain a welcoming office environment.
  • Support team members in their work needs for office & remote locations.
  • Participate in planning and execution of all company-wide Executive Assistant meetings and events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards.


What Are We Looking For?

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years proven experience as an executive assistant reporting directly to Senior Management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset, with a bias for action
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Responsive to team needs with professionalism, respect and consideration of others
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills


What's Our Offer?

Salary Range: You`ll earn between $77,970 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience.


Bonus: You`ll be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus up to 10% of base salary.


Paid Time Off: You`ll accrue paid time off on a bi-weekly basis based on hours worked up to 112 hours per year to start. Employees also receive 8 paid holidays and 1 paid family day off.

What Should You Expect?

Hybrid: SanMar's Eastpointe office is located in Issaquah, WA in the Seattle metropolitan area. Employees are required to work in our offices Tuesday through Thursday each week and additional days may be added based on business needs. Our standard working hours are 8:00-5:00 PST. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work environment is moderately quiet. Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions. Quarterly travel may be required.
