Executive Director, Neurology Marketing Community Lead

As the Executive Director, Neurology Marketing Community Lead, you are accountable for leading the integrated HCP marketing strategy and customer engagement priorities across current and future Neurology indications and assets. You will organize marketing around shared Neurology customer ecosystems while preserving clear brand and indication accountability.

Serving as the senior HCP marketing leader for Neurology, you will connect customer insight, portfolio priorities, launch and lifecycle needs, and cross-functional engagement into one coordinated Neurology Marketing Community strategy. You will partner across HCP Experience, Brand/Indication teams, Field, TLLs, Medical, Market Access, Patient Experience, Digital, Insights, Customer Engagement & Experience, and Portfolio Marketing to drive performance and a consistent HCP experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

Neurology Marketing Strategy & Portfolio Leadership

  • Set and lead the integrated HCP marketing strategy and priorities for the Neurology Marketing Community across brands, indications, and lifecycle stages.

  • Own the community-level view of Neurology customer needs, market dynamics, influence networks, and engagement opportunities, translating insights into clear strategic choices.

  • Set cross-indication priorities, resolve trade-offs, and guide allocation of community and shared marketing resources to maximize overall Neurology portfolio performance.

  • Partner with Brand/Indication Leads—who retain accountability for indication-specific strategy and execution—to align brand plans, launches, lifecycle priorities, and integration of future Neurology assets within the shared customer ecosystem.

HCP Engagement & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Shape the shared Neurology customer and KOL ecosystem strategy, including coordinated customer planning, peer-to-peer education, congress priorities, field enablement, and cross-indication engagement.

  • Lead an integrated community engagement plan connecting customer insights, indication priorities, TLL and field engagement, and personal and non-personal channels, in partnership with Medical, Market Access, Patient Experience, Digital, Insights, Customer Engagement & Experience, and other functions.

  • Use customer feedback, engagement data, market dynamics, and portfolio performance to optimize strategy, and elevate key opportunities, risks, and resource needs to the VP, HCP Experience and senior leaders.

Team Leadership & Performance

  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports and networks of empowered teams, building strong HCP marketing capability while setting clear direction, priorities, performance expectations, and accountability across the Neurology Marketing Community.

  • Oversee community-level investment and execution discipline, including budgets, agency partnerships, shared resources, and major workstreams, while fostering a collaborative, agile, customer-centered, and compliant culture.

Education, Experience & Qualifications

  • BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred.

  • Seasoned commercial leader in biotech or pharmaceuticals with approximately 12-15+ years of relevant experience, including significant HCP marketing leadership experience.

  • Strong experience in specialty, rare disease, immunology, neurology, biologics, or other complex treatment markets and sophisticated HCP customer ecosystems.

  • Demonstrated success leading integrated HCP marketing strategies across multiple brands, indications, customer segments, channels, or lifecycle stages, including launch and lifecycle management and customer/KOL engagement.

  • Proven ability to lead through a complex matrix, influence senior stakeholders, resolve trade-offs, and align cross-functional teams around shared priorities without relying solely on formal authority.

  • Demonstrated people leadership, talent development, budget stewardship, and agency management experience in a fast-paced, evolving commercial environment; flexible to travel based on business needs.
